Activity: 0% Longevity: 98% | | Cheapest way for a person in the USA to get a Canada account without having to verify
I live in the USA. Anyone know how to get a Canada account created without having to go through verification, without dialing international to a Canada ISP, and without renting an ISP? I've tried dialing cities right next to Canada but eBay always demands phone or credit card verification to make an account. I've not even bothered proxies since I doubt they will work.

Why not try using a VPN service like blacklogic.com
They have Canadian I.P.'s
Just add a crdit card and you should be good to go,it
costs a bit, but you could set up several accounts, and then use Auctiva.

Yes, I mentioned renting IP addresses and why I opted not to do them.

Well, your comment was 'I doubt they will work', I have been using blacklogics VPN service for around a year now with an account and have had no issues (which is why I mentioned them).
I have a dedicated I.P. that I use with them
Canadian I.P.-check
Credit card to verify?- (check out my sig)
Phone number (options are available)
Address (easy to figure out)
I don't think you can do this for 'free' if that's what you are looking for.

The problem I see with VPN services is that you really have no garuntee that it is you using the IP exclusively. I'm assuming that these companies just share IPs between customers and don't give each individual their own address, especially considering how backwards internet connectivity is here thanks to the CRTC.
I could be wrong though, i'm just speculating on how these services work.

I thought proxies get you limited? Do you pay another $13 for every Ip you get from madvpn or is it a monthly fee?

Ok thanks, It looks like I'm gonna be going with dial-up for now, but first I gotta pay a technician to do this inside wiring job so I can have a seperate line for dialing up. The messed up thing is I ordered the aol dial-up and a phone line already, because I didn't know the house wasn't wired for 2 lines(silly me, I should've checked). Right now I have a voip line hooked up, but my analog line is not coming through any jacks in the house and I've paid last months bill and am coming up on this months bill, and still have not dialed-up once! So all together that's about 80$ down the drain on top of the $150-200 I'm about to pay the tech for about 2 hours work(may not seem like alot but right now it is). And all this just to get on dial-up! ERRRRRR |

Ouch!
That's a lot for dialup..
Good thing is, it works perfect in our situation and it's hard to mess up. |

Hello,
I use blacklogic.com and work perfectly. Also you can try madvpn.com. I am using a shared ip but I would suggest you get a Dedicated IP.
Thanks

eBay tracks proxies either through blacklist services or the fact that there will be tons of people using the same IP. They also geotarget.
As for renting an IP, if you do a VPS or dedicated website, you get your own IP address and are the only one using it.
For renting an IP, the IP might come up looking like it's in a range that doesn't belong to a proper internet connectivity range.

Right, so if using a VPN, do a whatismyipaddress.com and verify where it has you located. And create your account in that area.

Lol, any site that has the word proxy in it's domain name, don't use.
Proxy Vs VPN..
Proxy equals a random ip address, that many people share. It does not hide your true ip address, you connect directly to it with your browser and it hides NOTHING.
A VPN is a new connection. You connect directly to it. Depending on the service you buy, your ip address can only be used by you. It's not dynamic, it's a Static IP most of the time. Works.
Please Modee, proxy and a VPN connections are different. Do not mix them up.

Yes, Vpn and proxies are whole different things. There are two types of vpn services. Shared and private vpn. I suggest private since you are only one using that certain ip.

I used a proxy server for my other account but I buy only with that account. It has been open for nearly 2-4 months, I believe.
