If, as we are told, the universe is everything and the universe is expanding all the time .... well what is it expanding into?

aliens do not say anything , we are the aliens. we will be the ones who will once go to other planets and the locals will be wondering , what the heck? how can one look that disgusting? with just 2 eyes and 2 legs?

The universe could be a bubble amongst trillions of other bubbles. Any such group of universes would exist and expand into a multiverse. Trillions of multiverses would exist in an omniverse and so on until you get to the hyperverse.
Stars are born (from swirling gas clouds), live, expand and die, but the process repeats itself. Given the big bang theory, who's to say this isn't the same process playing out in our expanding universe?
The entire thing might be a cycle of birth and death - repeating itself in our galaxies, universe, multiverse, omniverse, etc.
