Walmart and Amazon are two different companies. You can't use Walmart gift cards to place orders on amazon.

Not true. It depends on the type. WalmartGift.com branded ones work everywhere.

I don't believe they meant cobranded Visa gift cards, although im not sure if you can use a walmart gift card to buy a walmart visa gift card

no they are WM gift cards... not visa gift cards. so only use at walmart. com
