Entropay - worked for me in the UK
 

Hi guys,

Came across Entropay, and it was so quick, and instant. Just register an account, and it creates you a virtual visa right away. I linked it to a current credit card, uploaded £5 into it. Set up a test ebay account to see if it would work, and it sure did work for verifying a sellers account.
Now all I need is a landline number, which I think I have sorted.

Just thought I would share my experience with that. Was quick, instant, and cheap.

Anyone else have experience with entropay?

I looked around at various different prepay cards online, and most of them either needed to be mailed to you, or there was some kind of upfront charge.

But entropay was just so dam easy. I really was amazed.

yeah used entropay last week worked fine but i didnt clean my computer correctly before i started so got suspended. But seems to be works excellent. will use in the future. aspkin is the chief. lol

I guess this is useful for ppl outside of the US. At $6 a pop it sure isn't cheap.

can i change the name and address info on each virtual card? or does it stay the same?
For example if i wanted up 10 ebay accounts with different names and paypal accounts aswell. will i be able to use entropy?

You can setup however many accounts you like. On one account, you can setup multiple virtual Visa's, but they are all linked to the same address.

have brought two credit mastercards from cashplus uk, and it didn't work on paypal it was declined and it didn't work on ebay as it said unable to verify, also on ebay now to create a seller a/c you need to put in your bank details as well as a credit card

what a dick head, never loaded up any money on them, paypal and ebay bounce £1 on to them to see if active, thats why they were declined, will keep you posted when l put some money on them and try again::

Could you tell me ,did you created entopay with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info?I have tried it and they send me a massage to send them copy of my passport or driver licence number and any billing with my address of course my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address.
Anybody knows if barclays gift card works for paypal?

When I tried a Barclays gift card on Paypal it didn't work.
With Entropay you must register with your real details.
You can have as many virtual cards as you like, and you can use them to set up sellers accounts on Ebay using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names and addresses.

When making payments with EntroPay virtual cards I may input any address and name?

Can you enter a US home address? I need to verify a US Paypal account and have an entropy card - will this work? Has anyone tried this?

Edit: just tried with US paypal - card was rejected as they cannot verify with address with issuing bank.

can entropy use as a bank account to receive money from paypal ?

Entropay Card Problem
 

i used to set up my ebay accts with entropay cards for several months, but since last week, some of my accts with entropay card get two emails from ebay:

1)Billing - Temporary Exclusion From Automatic Payment of Selling Fees
...We have temporarily disabled the automatic payment of your invoices. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we've taken this action to ensure that you're being charged only for amounts that you actually owe.

If you're not currently an active seller, then our action should have no effect upon your account and the following information is for your information only...

2)MC010 Support Warning - TKO (Selling) - Restored Account
...Your account was accessed by an unauthorized third party to list items without your authorization. At this time we have taken several steps to secure your eBay account. Rest assured that your credit card and banking information is safe on the eBay site, as this information is kept encrypted on a secure server and cannot be viewed by anyone... so called 3RD PARTY ACCESS limitation.

all those "3RD PARTY ACCESS limitation" did happen before, but none of the previous limitations related with the billing card problem.

i thought there might be some new tracks with card resources on ebay.
any one got the same problem with me?:confused:
