What is the best way to buy large amount prepaid giftcard?
 

I NEED $300-$500 face amount prepaid visa ms prepaid giftcard.


What is the way to get?


Local stores only sell amount with $25 or $50

Vanilla visa can go up to $200 I think. Highest prepaid card I have seen would be $100. I would say buy 10 of the $50, but the activation fees would be around $40.

There are online VCC stores that let you go up to 1K GPB, which translates to almost 1.6K usd.

What would you need that for anyway?

Greendot will let you load initially something like 200... then you can add however much you want later. Of course this is just a bank account.... but it can't overdraft like a bank account, so there are some good uses for it. I use mine to pay for things that I know I may only want to try for a month, and not have to worry about a company rebilling monthly when the call to cancel the subscription fails, for example. I almost never keep any money it though.

The bigger banks advertise you can go up to $500 and buy them in person. I don't have any experience doing this though. I just started a new thread in this forum to discuss this since I don't see anyone talking about this.
