Does credit card verification even matter?

If I add a bank account to my paypal, will also adding a credit card make it more resilient to investigation and limitations on paypal? Or does it not matter at all, I should just add a bank account and let that be that.

Helps with solidification since "they" feel they have more financial info on you.

adding cc for the backup purpose. If you don't have sufficient money pp will use the card. However they can use bank but i think CC is easy to charge.

Yes should help the account look more legit, also will lift the withdraw limits, while bank verifies the account.

I thought most of ebay's limitation and "investigations" were based off algorithms and bots? Credit card verification counts for something in their system?
