If anyone can assit it would be great. | I have been using Woolworths Everyday Money Prepaid debit card, it is not reloadable but it is cheaper costs 2.9 per cards. i then link my paypal to bank account to withdraw them.
Was wondering if you use credit card instead of bank account for paypal, will you get the verified status in paypal and how will you withdraw money out of paypal? |
skyichigo | 05-12-2011 02:22 AM | You will get Verified status for sure, but without bank account, you are expecting limitation faster, depends on how much money going in your PP account.
And also if you want to spend the money without Bank Account, you can make your own ejunkie account and use Bank account with it, then use your other account to pay yourself. |
jazzth | 05-28-2011 04:04 AM | Can you start selling on ebay.com.au without having an OZ verified PayPal account? |
craigoaus | 05-28-2011 02:05 PM | yes you can, but Paypay limit you to being able to withdraw $700 a month and send $4,700 until your account is verified. You may not be able to list on any other ebay site or to make the item you are selling available to buyers in other countries until you are verified but this may depend on what you are selling |
jazzth | 05-28-2011 09:37 PM | But I would be all good to go for Australia, right? |
craigoaus | 05-30-2011 05:09 PM | yep thats correct |
skyichigo | 05-31-2011 07:53 AM | hey craigoaus , you still in thailand?? |
craigoaus | 05-31-2011 01:19 PM | Nah sky back in Aus for now open as many accounts as I can while here :-) |
skyichigo | 06-03-2011 02:20 AM | Just went to safeway and they told me none vailable for the everyday mastercard. 3stores doesnt have them in stock. does this happen to anyone? |
craigoaus | 06-03-2011 02:22 AM | yep seems to be a shortage, I asked the staff at Woolworths and they said they are getting more in, they just do not know when |
jbluntz | 06-03-2011 02:41 AM | They have a Safeway and a Woolworths in Aussie? both US stores, would've never guessed. |
craigoaus | 06-03-2011 02:52 AM | I think it is a different company, Woolworths here is a listed company and our largest supermarket, we only have 2 national Supermarkets Woolworths and Coles.. we also have Kmart and Target both owned by Coles (I think) and Radio Shack which had its name changed to Dick Smith which is owned by Woolworths. American companies own a few of our Australian companies. I think you yanks owned the largest Cattle Station (AKA Ranch) here at one time if not still owned which covered more area than Texas :-) |
jbluntz | 06-03-2011 03:19 AM | Yeah I think the Woolworths is different, it's Woolworth here, without the s and we also have the Kmart, Target and Radioshack, not sure who they're owned by but anyway don't mean to get off topic here. |
jjjia | 06-04-2011 05:00 AM | I have not encountered any shortage of the cards...btw these cards are issued by ANZ bank which is a good thing i guess... |
Calvina | 06-09-2011 08:08 AM | Hi...im new on here.
with regards to prepaid cc's and gift cards, i have been using only 1 gift cards which you buy thru aus post with no problems. it's nest to pay fees thru these cards with oen off payments |
Pringles | 06-12-2011 09:33 AM | im also using the woolworths everyday money card
i think they have a reloadable version for around 9.95 as opposed to the 2.95 one that i have been using |
craigoaus | 06-12-2011 05:33 PM | The Woolies cards seem to be the best value for money (& I am pleased to see my local store is fully stocked) at $2.95 with a minimum load of $20. I like the idea of having a few dollars on the card as I can then buy something from another account of mine to further establish it. |
craigoaus | 06-12-2011 05:35 PM | Oh if anyone is interested these cards will work for accounts opened outside of Australia as well (I have used them overseas to open accounts). |
Pringles | 06-13-2011 01:09 AM | i tried to use the woolies card to verify my pp acc twice... but i cant find the code in the transaction history |
craigoaus | 06-14-2011 03:25 AM | it takes 3 or 4 days to show ... like on a real credit card :-) | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:49 AM. | |
