Confirm what? Just so you know, your image above is incorrect. Gift Cards DO NOT require SSN...that's wrong. "PREPAID" cards require SSN, such as the following:

They don't but perhaps they can assist in obtaining...or other people whom wayus thinks might be kind enough to procure them.

Aw, gee. So kind of you.

Shame the OP has not been online since 2013 and thus never asked the question.

But that kindness of yours is noted.

I have found that a few prepaid gift cards are not working on the ebay seller registration- they are simply just not recognized as active cards even though they are active and have funds. Does anyone know of any cards that are actually working now a days?

Your major mistake is "Prepaid", use "GIFT" Cards.

What's the difference?

I think I have been using gift cards btw. Visa gift cards.

Prepaid are when you load the money on the gift card yourself, most of the time you can specify how much you want on the card and can many times be reloadable. A gift card you buy in a set amount set by the card company and listed on the packaging

I just used 1.2.3 rewards card for a U.S Paypal.. Works good...

I had trouble with my vanilla a year ago... not by any means saying it doesnt work..

There is a ton of other cheaper choices

Thanks for the replies, guys. Any particular brands that work best? You can PM me if you don't want to publicly post specifics. Just saying :)

I have found that the mygiftcardsite.com cards that they sell in krogers stopped working for me about a year and a half ago. Before they stopped working or being recognized (For whatever reason) they just don't accept them anymore. I even waited until I could get some of their cards with the numbers being totally different, along with a different expiration date. Still no luck.

I also had a different brand that were working great for some time... and then about 6 months ago they stopped working as well and are now doing the same thing as the mygiftcardsite.com gift cards. They don't even recognize them as valid cards anymore, even though the cards are active and have sufficient funds.

Has anyone found a card that PayPal accepts during registration?

Been looking for weeks now and none of the prepaid giftcards seem to be working?

I'm assuming you need to use your EIN and have them mail you out a card with your name?

Here's a convenient way go to Walmart.com they sell the vanilla visa gift card you need and I just had it shipped for free so easy. Once you get card like posted above your gong to want to register it at vanillavisa.com with your stealth zip code. This is for people that are too lazy to go to store lol.

People, there's a difference between "Vanilla" cards and "My Vanilla" cards - you need to buy the "My Vanilla" cards so that you can register them online with your details of choice (though they require a SSN)

Since when? Vanilla Visa Gift Cards work just fine, No SSN required.....not sure why people choose to make it difficult.

Have you tried calling the number, telling them you just want a TEMPORARY NAME AND ADDRESS added to the card. You dont need to give a social or anything. Tell them youre just trying it out to see if you like it. They usually try to set you up with a permanant card. Tell them no, just add a name and address to the tempoary card you have. Should work for Paypal

Hello guys,
Can anyone confirm if vanilla MC purchased from canadian walmart can still be used for ebay/paypal verification? Specifically, with new ebay accnt, in order to start selling? Or, is there are other cc solutions for canadian eb? Any one can answer this question?
Thanks!

I have used vanilla mc for Canadian confirmation in 2012 so my experience is dated - if you are in Canada, the RBC gift cc also works well. I haven't tried the vanilla visa sold in local shops yet...

Thanks for the quick response. As far as I now, rbc gift cc is no longer available :( Get to used it in the past, but not now. Last time at the local branch I was told that rbc is discontinued with these cards.
Any other solutions?
Thanks!
