Options for funds for paypal usage

hi. my story is i want to use an ICE card - a card you pay onto like Meta (Netspend) or Rush. I know not to use Rush. Netspend has always been good - but I noticed here they say not to use Netspend. I wanted to find out if the Ice card for MB Financial works. And if name variation works.

I'd like to add that recently I could only send around $10 at a time from a new PP to an old paypal. But with different names and locations, they were linked because a buyer wanted a return on the new PP.

I am really wondering how you refund people if PP locks your account. If you are refunding because you'e agreed to cancel the order - and never transferred out the money - the buyer can't get their refund and will say they paid and did not get the item.

I think this forum should have made Paypal/Ebay ways change by now. Wouldn't all the posts after all these years make a difference?

Thanks for putting up the forum and being so proactive for every day people who have no idea how bad PP is - even if you do everything "right" - once you are linked to somebody PP decides is no good - you are no good - even if you just accepted a birthday "gift."

Also, they do lock gifts. If the person wants to take back their gift with their bank card, you will get a negative balance.

I'm not sure I'm following ?? You sold an item in ebay the customer paid and now your Paypal account is limited so you don't want to send the product and need to find a way to refund the buyer??

the buyer thought the blond color on a product was too yellow, not platinum. crazy cause the buyer had not seen the particular product "live" in 30 years and after 30 years, some platinum can change, but this had not.

anyway, no problem, she sent it back and it sold (new buyer said "gorgeous.")

went to give a refund to the buyer who sent the return and the acct was perm locked because a payment sent from a stealth account was flagged. it was flagged because a buyer from europe filed a claim one week after payment and after the product shipped - so they would get the product and the money.

so the buyer who deserved a refund - her money was locked in the legit account. you can't send it back to her, for refund, because the acct is now locked.

locked what does locked mean? if the money is in your paypal just email or call paypal to refund it if your account has no refund limitation which some do. Good luck

PP permanently disabled the acct with funds in it. so i can't refund the buyer with the money they sent via PP. there is no way to do anything in the PP acct.

what if someone was even limited - they have to send in all the paperwork in order to do anything. i think it's the same thing, where people are waiting 180 days to get their money out.

Email or call pp to refund buyer or you can tell buyer to dispute inr

stealthychew 07-01-2013 03:54 PM

then the buyer should get back their money on the dispute even if my PP is permanently locked and i cannot touch it? i do not want to sign in to that pp again because i need a new one due to the limitation.

danshan 07-01-2013 03:59 PM

why are you scared to sign in, the account is shot so is the user, IP, and whatever else with it. log in and handle it or just email buyer and tell them to dispute or do nothing and most buyers NOT ALL will dispute it themselves

stealthychew 07-01-2013 05:16 PM

^ because i want to open a new PPs to use on another site. if i sign in to the old PP it will log my new IP and connect me to the old account - because i signed in to 2 PPs.

You can refund the buyer by calling up PP and doing an agent-manual refund. I have done this in the past on limited accounts for which I could not win the appeal.
