VCC is used to CONFIRM a pp. This is like a credit card.

VBA is used to VERIFY a pp. This is a bank account.

Very different principles. You can't VERIFY with just a VCC....have you set up any PP already?

I wouldn't get too caught up in the differences, they really go hand in hand. In order to verify the account, you need to confirm your information.

In Paypal's world...when you 'verify' the account, it means changing the status from an unverified PP account into a verified PP account. In doing so, you have confirmed both your bank and CC information, passing AVS checks.

The VBA is an extra layer of verification. It is used in lieu of your real bank account. It cannot be used to withdraw funds. (This comes in handy in case your account doesn't last the initial stages, you don't need to burn your real bank account).

You will need your own bank account.

Best to start by reading the eB stealth guide +/- searching the forums.

can you please be more descriptive i am a total noob. and atm i cant afford the stealth guide but when i get money i am interested in purchasing it. can you stealth the bank account too?

The guide is not costly when you compare how much knowledge you gain from it & also how much you will make from sales after learning the ropes.

I don't gain anything by promoting it, but you should really start there. Members have already provided guidance on your questions, there's no need to elaborate further.

ALL Bank accounts must be opened in your real information...there's no such thing as stealth bank.

As outlined earlier, use stealth information to create the PP account. Verify & confirm it using a VCC and VBA. After account is established, add your own bank account (with your real information) to withdraw funds.

As rsot mentioned in post#2, you do this with a VCC and VBA.

Your questions are basic/fundamental. Its best if you obtain the stealth guide to gain a general understanding of the terms, its uses and why they are needed. You will be spinning your wheels without this.

1. Do not think of transferring to other pp - read the forums more, there are MANY posts about not knowing why.

2. About the bank account, bank is always in your real name but you register it to your stealth paypal.

3. About not affording the stealth guide...seriously...30 odd dollars? Even if you can't, have you looked at trial pay?

Important: Not to rag on you but there is a search box in the left corner-ish part of the thread - you can type in keywords and search there - there are 10000s of posts here...your questions are BASIC (and you know this) so logically, has been handled many times :thumb:

Because of that ugly 4 letter word...(no, not that one)...LINK.

One transfer from PP to PP may not create a direct link...while several transfers to the same PP will create a link.

You don't, if you need to withdraw your funds add a NEW Bank account. Can't always have your cake and eat it too.

what if I am just looking for a burnout account? one or two major sells for about 500-700 each..is it really a smart thing to add my REAL bank.

Lot of these experienced folks will NEVER get to the point and answer Directly.

I think either they are hit and miss themselves or they feel threatened if more people start trading on ebay.

not had ONE decent folk who is willing to help.

All these big shots are just vague with small hearts.

Keep searching yourself bud, If them Dimwits can do it, then Im sure you can find the answer too. Im in the same boat trying to find answers myself.
