I don't like the ETH currently doesn't have a defined Token Cap. I also personally don't 100% understand the technology and every time I ask people about it they just tell me such and such company is backing it.

I do tend to think we are getting into bubble territory especially for many of these ALT Coins many which are pump and dumps and outright scams. I wouldn't be surprised to see a significant correction to shake out some of the weak hands.

You're paying about 50% more than the cost of materials to buy the rigs. You can get them locally for cheaper(almost at cost since a lot of the AMD prices have doubled on the GPUs) if you post an ad although it might take you a few days to source one. Use NVIDIA 1070/1080/1080 TI if you want to mine Zcash and AMD 470/480/570/580 if you want to mine Ethereum. I'm looking for a penny coin to get into, but it seems almost random as most follow what BTC/ETH are doing.

While it's fun to mine and profitable after 3-4 months, you have to make sure the coin price outpaces the degree of difficulty chart. Most people don't consider that when they put together mining rigs. Look at this week from June 5 to June 10. The difficulty went up from 580 to 680 or 17% and the price went up from 247 to 292 or about 18%. You can assume there is no significant difference. Basically, the price has to go up at the same rate as the difficulty to keep on mining.

It's much easier to simply buy and hold right now than invest in mining rigs unless the price of the coin will drop or stagnate. If you think it will stagnate, then you shouldn't be investing in alt coins. There is a bit more to say on trading versus mining though. If ETH hits $1000 at the end of the year, that's a really nice investment. If you're worried just sell it below $200 and you'll only lose 30% of your fortune.

Hello aspkin gang :) word of warning , if your getting into crypto , alt coins , be careful with ****coins , low price coins that are hyped to be the new eth , btc . You will get gangs of pump and dump groups shilling the **** out of them. Don't beleave the hype , do your research , it's like the Wild West out there . Play safe people :)

Went all in on Litecoin!!! Prepared to lose my Behind if it comes to it. With Segwit this and possibly ETC are by the most undervalued and unloved Coins/Tokens out there. To each their own!!!

pump and dumps are great. if you do alt pump and dumps just set your profit low and you are always out before the dump. its a great biz model right now icotracker.net shows all the coming up icos

The swings are consistent and far wilder than stocks with no reason other than people are selling coins at a high point creating a drop(maybe large coinholders), and then it's rebounding as people jump on board when the price is low enough. If you can find a site that takes a small percentage(I never traded before), you can definitely reap the rewards. It seems most sites will take a high percentage to convert coins. If I don't make a lot of money at the end of this(even if all the coins crash), it means I missed a golden opportunity.

I don't know this particular Crypto as there are way too many now. But many a pre-mined and really have zero value proposition. Many have a Garbage White Paper now with no development team or anything. I'm a huge bull in Crypto but now you have bubble in ALT Coins. Redemptions will have to come through the Big Cryptos which are the funding currencies which create a Short Squeeze type effect.

Apparently there's a well known pump and dump group that moves from coin to coin. If you can piggyback on them, you can make money.

I'd avoid the p and d groups , by the time everyone starts to buy the organisers have there finger on the sell button . Waste of time doing that **** in my opinion .

I agree with LTC.

The risk vs reward is highest with it.

What do we think about BTC/ETH ?

I think longer term BTC is safe. Long term ETH has a lot of struggles so I'm unsure about it.

ETH has a ton of hype behind it. But its Token limit is still unlimited. They already broke the blockchain and did a hard fork to bail out some early investors because of a hack. I bought mine at $10-15 and sold the majority at $222. I wish I timed it better but I truly believe even with the Ethereum Alliance, etc. Most the people getting involved at this point have no idea what they are doing.

I could be wrong but I have a hard time believing these Corporations are out on the Exchanges accumulating these Tokens. With that said I think it can go higher from here with people just chasing momentum and hype. For me I don't worry about that, I putting my money in things I believe in. I will still be accumulating the LTC. I purchased some more hash power with Genesis mining for Bitcoin so I still have a play there. I wish they had Litecoin Hash power available.

BIP 148 I am still unsure about, I think some of the miners are playing chicken. Hard to say what happens there. I might be the only one out there but Litecoin hands down has the best network right now. Lots of Crypto investors think it is boring but it has been ultra stable. Which is a very very good sign.

ETH is not them, it has been rising for damn near a year and it is traded on coinbase and gemini and if you follow crypto forums ETH is around for the long haul according to the crypto know it alls!

There are a ton of coins still trading for fractions of a cent and a lot that are trading around a few cents. I've been watching Burst for a couple weeks, but it doesn't seem to be doing much, hanging around $0.16.

You have to look at the percent of duds vs risers to see if you can just put money into every coin and expect to win.
