That is just screaming scam

Sign up on coinbase or kraken and just buy bitcoins and hold on to them in a wallet. There's a lot more to know about bitcoins and how to store them etc before you should actually invest in them.

Take into account that there is probably lower than 20billion worth of coins in circulation so if powerful people want to take it down they will just open short positions and wipe out a lot of it.

Long term you'll probably do well but like any investing don't but all your eggs in one basket.

Be careful of the mining contracts as well. I got burned about half way through on a smaller amount of Bitcoin half way through last year.

Been awhile since its been under $1000 and the higher it climbs the less likely the dip to below that point - unless something drastic happens.
Patience is the name of the game I suppose...

Only if you're willing, or have 5 figures to invest. If not Bitcoin is a waste of time. Ethereum was $8 in December and $70 today. That would've been a decent profit.

Download this app called "Coincap" for your phone. It tracks ALL crypto currencies with a live clock and even gives you a graph for the last 24 hours, week, month, 6 months and 1 year. Its pretty cool.

Price it by market cap, the top 10 currencies are currently:
Bitcoin
Ethereum
Ripple
Litecoin
Dash
Ethereum Classic
NEM
Monero
Augur
Golem

You probably haven't even herd of more than half of these. There's a ton more that are worth investing into. In fact, *every single one of these* have increased significantly the past 3 months. Enough to make it seem silly that you put your money in stocks rather than these.

I take a look at this CoinCap app on my phone every morning and night and read a few articles about speculation every day. Its interesting **** and it's definitely going to be more of a common thing in 10 years (my opinion).

And there's ton of exchanges that you can buy pretty much all of these on. Even websites that you can cash out your PayPal with but will be forced to pay a premium. Kraken is the most popular and my favorite.

Trying to purchase ripple via CoinCap app, but it sends me to "shapeshift" app, which doesn't have an option to purchase ripple currency. Am I doing something wrong?

Do NOT use shapeshift they will kill you with fees.

Btc, ripple, and pretty much every top 10 currency is doing amazing this week. Quadrupled my ripple investment so far but I'm in it for the long run.

You will be required to send in docs etc to prove yourself, as it can easily be used to launder money. Your limits will increase with the more info you give but you shouldn't have any worries giving them info

Those are ALL scams they bait you in even if you get the initial withdrawals they'll eventually stop and take all the btc you invested.

And yeah, I'm mad I didn't invest more this week.

I am selfishly going to plug my own Bitcoin shirts as I created one of the original threads about two years ago. Being that I started the other long term thread when everyone hated Bitcoin years ago its quite crazy looking back. Adoption rates are growing everything is good in BitcoinLand. Hope many of you are coming out ahead on your trades.

I am selfishly going to plug myself again as MR. Bitcoin. I make $1 on this Merch by Amazon shirt and am really just trying to tier up rather than make a profit. Personally I love Bitcoin and just want ppl supporting the cause!! If you haven't applied to Merch by Amazon and have no idea what it is then apply and start learning about it, as its an amazing opportunity.

Best of luck to all I see the ALT coins down right now which is to be expected after such large spikes. Bitcoin seems to not care what others think. Its what penny stock traders call a RIP YOUR FACE OFF RALLY.

They are very strict on Copyright and Trademark. You have to spent lots of time on the USPTO the US Trademark Website doing research for designs, word text etc. As far as getting accepted it took me 6 months from when I applied in like October of last year in got in mid March. There is no timetable for getting in because its still in Beta mode and they are trying to grow their capacity as quickly as possible.

Its an excellent program and you can use Fiverr or Upwork or whatever you like. But like I mentioned before a ton of it is doing research because so many phrases and what not are trademarked and if a design goes up for manual review and there is any question they will reject it.
