One day they're going to just stop paying and their withdrawals will just be "pending" and the website will shut down scamming hundreds maybe thousands of people that just put in their initial "investment".

You're just apart of the first few that are lucky that get a small return. But you're feeding into a large scam.

There's been plenty of websites pop up like this literately every month.

I sold 90% of my ETH yesterday at $222 USD. 1800% gain so no crying there. I am personally looking at Litecoin for more entrance points. I think this has one of the best networks out there since they adopted Segwit and considering Bitcoins political scaling issues. Plus the Chinese love Litecoin. In China there is BTC and LTC and all other coins are Altcoins which is interesting.

I only mine eth because I have the available money, I have no debt and live a cheap life.

I did the same thing, sold about 50%. I bought some eth last week and from the eth I get from mining since I started. Sold half of everything. So far most of the mining machines I bought are about 80% paid for, not including the money I made from selling it. When I sell it I'm sure the market with be flooded with computer parts going for cheap.

You shouldn't ever have issues selling any cryptocurrency since they are easily converted to other cryptocurrencies using simple tools such as https://shapeshift.io/#/coins - which you can then sell more easily if need be i.e. BTC

When Ethereum changes over to POS (proof of stake) from POW (proof of work) it is going to explode in value. Should happen between end of summer and early next year. I would definitely hold. On the downside mining Ethereum will be virtually non-existent when that happens.

ETH has a very big possibility to surpassing BTC at some point.

I don't like the ETH currently doesn't have a defined Token Cap. I also personally don't 100% understand the technology and every time I ask people about it they just tell me such and such company is backing it.

I do tend to think we are getting into bubble territory especially for many of these ALT Coins many which are pump and dumps and outright scams. I wouldn't be surprised to see a significant correction to shake out some of the weak hands.

You're paying about 50% more than the cost of materials to buy the rigs. You can get them locally for cheaper(almost at cost since a lot of the AMD prices have doubled on the GPUs) if you post an ad although it might take you a few days to source one. Use NVIDIA 1070/1080/1080 TI if you want to mine Zcash and AMD 470/480/570/580 if you want to mine Ethereum. I'm looking for a penny coin to get into, but it seems almost random as most follow what BTC/ETH are doing.

While it's fun to mine and profitable after 3-4 months, you have to make sure the coin price outpaces the degree of difficulty chart. Most people don't consider that when they put together mining rigs. Look at this week from June 5 to June 10. The difficulty went up from 580 to 680 or 17% and the price went up from 247 to 292 or about 18%. You can assume there is no significant difference. Basically, the price has to go up at the same rate as the difficulty to keep on mining.

It's much easier to simply buy and hold right now than invest in mining rigs unless the price of the coin will drop or stagnate. If you think it will stagnate, then you shouldn't be investing in alt coins. There is a bit more to say on trading versus mining though. If ETH hits $1000 at the end of the year, that's a really nice investment. If you're worried just sell it below $200 and you'll only lose 30% of your fortune.
