Your argument doesnt hold up. All cryptocurrencies are being affected right now and it is all speculative activity that is the main factor.

You make money on the buy.. buy at the right time and it's hard to lose.

The closer we get the 1st the more the price will fluctuate.. so look for good buying opportunities.

The reason why Altcoins are being affected is that one way or another, they involve transactions through BTC. The effect is compounded when you are dependent on something, in this case BTC.
