| | | Elliot | 02-17-2018 08:22 PM | Any sellers of Crypto on here...? I've found some dependable sellers of Crypto on Fleabay (and a few with semi-reasonable markups), but even after they were fair with me, I noticed they were ALL NLRU'd within days of each other, and that there are NO listings anymore except for "mining" and overseas.
Maybe Fleabay changed their terms or rules or all those sellers were actually the same 3 or 4 people...? I'm not sure, but the only place I'd trust anyone with a long history of good marks and feedbacks besides Fleabay would be here. |

Nothing like instant feedback (slash a spanking  ) by the forum gurus you most admire! The advice is truly appreciated, guys. So Crypto on Fleabay is erased from my white board SUPER quick!
Now that I know what you guys think of buying from people on Eb*y, where would you suggest, if there are no ATM's that give out BTC close by....? Without a fully verified online exchange account or whatever? Quote:

If someone had REALLY long feedback with a lot of activity, and the transaction is small enough, wouldn't that be a reasonable risk? Or is there another reason you were thinking...? Quote:

:focus: | he he... I was NOT trying to entertain... but the idea (which worked well so far, until sellers started getting vaporized by Eb*y) is off my list, believe me, if you guys don't approve. But it was easy while it lasted.
This anonymous, easy, quick blah blah blah exchange so far is super complicated, slow, and requires a TON of verification. I'm sure it will go up in value as things evolve where it's easier to buy and use in the future, but for now it's been a lot of work getting into it, especially when you live in a remote area. |
| GreenBean | 02-17-2018 09:49 PM | Re: Any sellers of Crypto on here...? You know when this thing called cyrptocurrency came along, first thing that scared me was ebay.
As of today, the early traders I followed have gone. Vanished NOT even returned with another ID. That amazed me.
So we come to the real life need of dealing wirh BTC. (Let me keep BTC as the subject.) i have used this company in 2 different countries, Australia and USA. www.localbitcoins.com. Read and do your own searching to see if it rings all the bells and you feel safe. There are 14 USA based Paypal dealers for the USA.
Based on your question, I hope this helps.
Selling crypto is like some deals on Craiglist.
Hope this helps.

:juggle: | Thank you GreenBean! There's so much advice online, and so much of it is posted by people or entities that have a vested interest in you choosing one thing over another, but get pointed in a direction by someone who's provided YEARS (I've been on here for many years prior to this ID) of input on other stuff ALWAYS proved dependable, well that's priceless. :thumb: |

Yeah, THAT type of situation would have been fantastic to find again, someone with a real decent history on here, selling to a long time active member on here... I guess something like that was what I had in mind, this could be so easy, but trust is so hard to find.... even in the real world, but so much harder on the internet. |

There is nothing dumb with finding someone to buy bitcoins with your Paypal Balance.
I read there were some guys on the forums who were offering this service and stopped suddently for unknown reasons.
Although there are many places where you can find sellers, I'm pretty sure a good such service will be available soon on this forum. |

I can't see how you can get by charging anything less, though others have reported paying as little as 5%.

Hopefully soon officially available on this forum again. |
| Jamsym | 07-19-2018 02:06 PM | Re: Any sellers of Crypto on here...? There is virwox exchange.
It could be done in theory on the forums
You would have to limit the service to accounts 6 months old with 100+ posts or something.
Then you'd have to figure out the % of charge backs. If 25% of people charged back you'd have to make your markup 35% to make profit.
However Paypal would like come down on you since you wouldn't have tracking info and have a high number of charge backs.
Seems like a lot of work and headaches for someone to try make it work.
It would be a great service though if someone could do it. |

You've been here 2 weeks and EVERY post is about you wanting to offer an exchange service at the forum. How do you know what the forum 'needs?'
We had a provider, now we don't, I don't see a big line of people asking where he's gone.
If you want to be a seller, go the official route, contact the owner of the forum and become a helpful member of the forum. |

I'd also be questioning what someone is up to if they are prepared to lose 25% of their money just to cash out. ;) |
| Beautiful | 08-10-2018 01:26 PM | Re: Any sellers of Crypto on here...? Its real tough to offer BTC for paypal... You'll have a huge amount of risk and you'll end up with a high balance PayPal which is always a problem.
Even if you were withdrawing the paypal, you would have a huge tax event and you would only be making 25% of the volume traded, if your paypal survives that long which it probably wont. Withdraw 10K to bank only to make 2.5K won't go well with a paypal account.
PayPal traders on localbitcoins never last that long probably on average a month or 2 before they get limited, you can see new faces on there all the time. And those guys are only accepting paypal payments from verified accounts by holding ID. They probably just get flat out limited for too much volume and probably not much fraud.
All it takes is a couple unhappy customers to dispute a charge and complain to paypal that you were using your account to sell Bitcoin and its perm limited
I can't see it ever working |

I can't see it ever working | What you said is absolutely true.
Just a very few Exchangers will last long dealing with Paypal.
For myself I have been doing this for years now and I'm 100% sure, you will not find any single complaint about me so far. And I will not lie, saying that through this journey, I lost a lot of money (Chargebacks, Refunds proceeded by Paypal etc..) but I learned from my failures and I still have a high daily trade volume.
In few weeks, If I m approved, I will try to offer my service (its not an advert please - I m not asking people to contact me - please wait for my official thread to be approved here - I'm not here to break any rules of this highly respectable forum).
Cashing out your Earnings in BTC is very good and uncomplicated way. When you deal with Stealth account, don't forget that you have always two challenges.
1) Making money | Set up your Shop, Attracting customers, Sell and Ship/Provide the service = Earnings
2) Once you made money, get your Earnings out | And here many people underestimate this part. Of course there are many ways out, and its up to you to choose which one you are comfortable with.
And don't forget, whatever fees you'd have paid to exchange to BTC, BTC will rise up sooner or later and you will have those fees back ++ ;-) |
