This is devastating for me, what other crypto platforms can i use that have low spread fees and fast deposits in the UK?

Coinbase Pro is what I'm using. Works well.

Try Kraken

Ick.
So many horror stories involving Coinbase. I myself avoid them.

Okay, so I had a coinbase a few years ago which I never used.

decided to transfer my crypto to it a few months ago, gave them my documents and they said fraudulent and shut down my account .

I think coinbase is one of the worst.

They definitely are! A few years ago I used them to send some bitcoin to pay for a transaction (only a small amount). They wanted all the details of the transaction. After providing them the details, they sent me a closure notice saying they believed I violated their terms of use!

It's because binance aren't strict that they have no licenses to operate and they are a crypto scammers paradise.

Coinbase pro just like PayPal once you are verified is very reliable. I've been using them with zero issues.

And just like paypal they can shut you down at any moment for any reason and good luck getting your money out back if that happens.

Okay so I'm not the only one.

I guess I'm glad I don't have any balance in their account and they eliminated themselves.

I'm surprised how big they are though.

I tried BITSTAMP today, its an okay platform in my opinion, really easy to navigate and good overall interface when trading

What are the fees when you swap between currencies?

Looks like BTC is now above 40k again.

What has been happening? I haven't paid attention to it.

Love binance.
Hate coinbase. I signed up for coinbase 4 years back and did not use it for 3 years then when I tried to use it 1 year back they asked me to send docs. I sent all docs and they suspended my acc permenantly without single transaction ever on that account. Strange company. I never attempted to do any transaction and they suspended me. Looks funny.

Exactly what happened to me too. It's way too bizarre.

Anyways, BTC is above 45K

Re: Crypto Blowing Up

I don't think this Bullrun ends in Dec/Jan. I think it ends next Aug/September. This is a super-cycle. It more closely resembles 2013 than 2017. It has been a bull run with a mini-bear market in between and than another bull market. We should have about a year left. It will be mostly a slow, healthy grind up for bitcoin and ethereum with explosive gains for the alts.

I also don't think we will see another 80% crash. I think this next bear market will bring us down 40-50% maximum.

Not financial advice and no one knows for sure what will happen not even the big venture/hedge fund insiders.

Based on feel and educated guess I agree with you.

honestly people who don't actively trade should just keep their BTC and cash out only when they want to cash out. Otherwise just hold and forget about it or it'll drive you nuts.

Sounds tempting. But I'm cashing out at 60k GBP.

I think we are following plan B stock to flow.

Cashing out with all your stack it's always a bad idea.

5-10x in crypto during a bullrun is like an extremely conservative mutual fund. There are 100-1000x's out there especially if you get in on the IDO or private sale.

the problem is finding them ahah

there are like 10 000 ****coins, seems hard to find the right one that will go x100

Trying to find such a coin is a real gamble.
I never engaged in that and never will. Ill stick to the big ones only.

Dude, three weeks ago you said "I'm thinking 100k by November and 180-200k by January." so why sell for £60k?

Re: Crypto Blowing Up

Good question.
One answer would be better safe than greedy.

Futuremogul888 08-22-2021 08:01 PM

Re: Crypto Blowing Up

Less gambling and more research. Being risk adverse is fine but risk mitigation through diversity is a much better strategy. Divide your portfolio into low risk, medium risk and high risk assets is the best strategy. As long as you are not lazy, this will get you the highest return during a bullrun while keeping you safe during a suddent downturn.

Freakzilla 08-23-2021 06:26 AM

Re: Crypto Blowing Up

So why not just sell some? Take the initial investment out.

I meant why not sell the original investment at 60k and keep the rest.
Seems a scattergun approach to trading.

It can be mentally challenging when you come into BTC at over $40k and if that's most of your money, and BTC dipped below that, FUD kicks in,

Well having bought most of my holdings at under $200 it certainly is different :)
