In a war situation, if the economy as we know it collapses, having gold in your pockets, I think it wouldn't work much, to carry enough you have to carry a suitcase full of gold, perhaps cross a border with that suitcase.
The same does not happen with BTC or other cryptocurrencies, you can carry your security phrases in your head or keep a ledger to store your millions of dollars.
although if the internet goes down what could happen, maybe look for a starlink

I would agree with this. Some very good returns can he bad on crypto but also a lot of losses

Amazon, eBay, etsy etc are much slower but its more of a traditional way to make money

Combine the both and you can have some great returns :)

I'm the type of individual who doesn't put money into something because of the hype, nor something I don't understand, and definitely not now since I couldn't get into Bitcoin when it was $100 or less. It's at $60,000+ but recently I researched Bitcoin ETF's, and the monthly payout is so good i'm considering investing.

Someone I talked to is enjoying the monthly pay, and if the trend continues you'll make your invested money back, plus more after the first 12 months. I'd like to take the risk, put some money into shares, and use the funds to pay for my traveling. I'll only invest what I don't care about losing. This is the only way I'll be investing in Bitcoin.

Yep, and let's not forget about taxes, but I know people are making so much on a monthly basis that they wouldn't be able to get from traditional dividends in a single year. I don't see it stopping anytime soon. I'm going to jump in.

Those events have NO impact on the price of bitcoin. The world markets have already factored it all in same as they did with the war in the Ukraine. They have less than a negligible effect these days when compared to the impact that market conditions, regulatory sentiment and interest rate cuts can and will have. Been more than 3 years and you still spew your ignorance.
Years ago I stated I will be HODLing my Bitcoin (and just in case anyone was wondering Im in the 3 figures which is why I retired over 2 years ago) and will be selling it between 2025-27. Looks like what I was forecasting is MUCH more accurate than anything agentjoker here is babbling about.
Out of curiosity Agent - just how much Bitcoin do YOU have? you who is making so many absurd comments over the years? Do you even have anything invested in crypto? like I said just curious. I'm betting the answer is a big resounding negative.

I havent really delved into the alt coins other than ethereum but always nice to have insight about other stable alt coins

I crosstrade between BTC and the altcoins in the top 10 to increase my holdings. Never any memcoins or such. And always read on the ones you trade in to ensure they will remain in the top 10 for the foreseeable future.
I NEVER convert to any stablecoins. Did that once years ago and it was a bad experience because the temptation is always there to wait a bit longer and in many cases you lose out.
I found that with cross trading the chances of losing money are practically non existent - as long as youre patient. Sometimes VERY patient. I once had to wait over 14 months for the profit but it ended in a massive uptick in my holdings. Look at the historical data for the BTC pairs with the top 10 and youll see how they cycle up and down over the last few years and youll see the potential for profit I refer to.

Well for one id base that on the results of the debate last night.
Trump was the clear winner and most are now assuming he will be the winner in November - and he is MUCH more pro Crypto than Biden and his administration were. The people he has in mind for the top positions that regulate the sector (such as the head of the SEC) are well known Crypto enthusiasts.
