It is going to draw a lot of people into investing in something they do not understand.
Or do not know where to keep their holdings safely

If the mining companies pledged their gold mines, the lenders can always seize them.
Gold is trying to tell us something.it goes up every day/

Investing sentiments have changed, investors are going back to safer type of investment-gold has been around for thousand of years and universally accepted as a store of value.
Central banks are adding gold to reserves, not US dollars.
Silver is the next hot investment !
Take profit in your cryptos and invest in something you can hold in your hands

$91,646 RIGHT NOW,get out,it is going lower.

investing sentiments have changed, they want something they trust, something they can hold in their hands, something which does not lose buying power ,something which cannot be sanctioned/confiscated/restricted ,they dont want someone to lock up their money-The EU has frozen approximately €210 billion in Russian central bank assets since Moscow invaded Ukraine in 2022.
China is not going to buy our Treasury instruments or US $ if they invade Taiwan, some do not want our US debt as it surpasses our annual GDP,we run a huge deficit.
Some large whales may have to liquidate their BItcoin holdings to pay bills,to spend or they find something more attractive than Bitcoin.
Gold and silver have a long history of being store of value, but Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is also too volatile to function as a currency?
Figure, you go and pay for a loaf of bread with Bitcoin,it could vary from the time you place it in your shopping cart to the time you check out?
This may sound rather petty, but I have yet to see any grocery store accepting Bitcoin, have you?May be in Ecuador?
I dont have any specific information on cryptos, but I follow other markets-gold,silver,bond,stock,real estate, copper.
All cryptos so far are just trading vehicles.

I just heard that there was a software glitch, some stable coin backed by US dollar, that dollar fell to 66 cents instead of $1,this triggers automatic selling by some software programs.
the guy who said that is Tom Lee,who is a fund manager, may be you can google and find out more/
Others disagree.who knows ?

Tom Lee's fund is sitting on 3.6 Billion in unrealized losses on his Etherium position.
In the past,he is always right, but not now !

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/msci-...235616226.html

It is coming from Tom Lee,but if you do a search, you will find someone talking about it on Reddit.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/news...ng/vi-AA1QPUEZ
But some have doubts about it,as it has been falling for days,
Hi fund is now sitting on huge loss.
As for MSTR-
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/msci-...235616226.html

There is something going on with Google search-
I search for Tom Lee loss,it shows up ,then hours later I search again for the same ,I cannot find it,it was way down on the third page.
BMNR is now up,ethereum is up 18 points

more institutions big money participation should push the price up.
It is my understanding it has already reached that with Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sach

So are all the world currencies, they are IOU from our inept, irresponsible, incompetent governments, thats why we are running to gold so we can hide them in our mattress so IRS cannot tax us !

Not much,I cant afford to buy gold at today spot price, just try to hold on to what I have.

For coins and bars(silver or gold),do not sell on EBay,sell to precious metal dealers, they pay you with a check,no cc fee,no FVF and no dispute.

thats a strange question ,if you buy now, then you sell when prices go up.
if you must sell on Ebay, then you must take ebay fees into consideration.
I see many Ebay buyers bidding on scrap gold lot, they either break them up and sell them for price of gold goes up. or send them to a refinery

You can just search scrap gold lot and you see all the listings have multiple bids.
solid gold,goldfill,even goldplated !

Be careful,Bitcoin could fall to $65,000.

As for me being a bad trader... just ask around the forum. Ask the older members about what I said years ago and how I did things when it comes to Crypto.
There's a reason I retired in 2021. And there's a reason you still live in your mom's basement...
My advice to you - get a life. And stop offering advice when you yourself will never act on it. Loser.

I have no interest in asking this forum, they are just as clueless as you are !

I'm never investing in Crypto the traditional way. However there are plenty of people making a living with BTC dividends which are paying their bills, vacations, food, etc

Many piled into Dogecoins at what ?1 cent/share !
what do you mean by traditional way vsnon traditional way?

The "traditional way" is how people originally invest into cryptocurrency involving wallets, brokers/exchanges.

The non traditional way is through ETF's, and although risky, people are making decent monthly income this way without having to invest an arm/leg, especially if they got in at a decent time or when shares are low.

looking at price history one can conclude anything after 2021 was in fact a bear market and it still is so that any bull run during this time was merely a jump before a stronger fall

This is the way, it will continue to rise as inflation and real world currency collapses.

Real world stuff definitely impacts crypto. Inflation, wars, banks collapsing.. people start looking for a way out. BTC reacts to that, it’s like a pressure valve. Not saying it’s perfect, but when trust in the system goes, people want control over their money. That’s why I hold the majority of my wealth in crypto.

Physical assets are great in a traditional sense but way less liquid. You can’t sell land or a building fast if things go south. Plus they can be seized, taxed, or even destroyed in war or disasters. Crypto’s different, it’s portable and can be moved instantly, no one can touch it if you’ve secured it right.

Yes, this is also a possibility.. but then again if you have wealth.. you should also have proportionate security to protect it.

There are people who will kill and do heinous things to steal wealth.

The saying goes, with wealth comes responsibility.. unless you hide it, which is no fun... you become a target.

In the worst case scenario, maybe it's best to have a dummy wallet, to give them something rather than nothing.

I think a healthy mix is needed.

HOld Bitcoin but don't make it 100% of your assets..

I have real estate, I'm in the stock market and I have Bitcoin.

Yes I agree Bitcoin primarily. However, there are definitely a small handful of great alt coins, one specifically that is Bitcoin 2.0 in the making .. technology moves forward but Bitcoin will always be the O.G gold standard and future store of value.

Never held, and never purchased Bitcoin, but want to reach a point where Bitcoin ETF's create a minimum wage job for me on the side through the monthly dividends.

I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon. I've been talking about them for months, possibly a year. One guy owned more than 50,000 shares, made all of his money back, and now it's just free money, even after taxes.

I'm more interested in this than actually owning crypto. Yes, they're high risk, but still going strong. Yield fluctuates, but it's paying better than the S&P 500 (for now) far far far surpassing their annual yield of 10%

Tbh I’m not into XRP. It’s not decentralised at all, it’s basically the opposite. Controlled by Ripple and backed by VCs. The only reason it’ll likely do well is because of the money behind it and its ties to traditional finance.

That said, it is built to work with ISO 20022 which is the new standard for global banking communication. A lot of big institutions are shifting over to it, and XRP is one of the cryptos designed to integrate smoothly with the banking system. So while most of crypto is trying to move away from banks, XRP is positioning itself to be used by them.

That's why I think it will do well, but it's not something I'd hold my wealth in, easily seized etc.. they can freeze your wallet at a moments notice.

Not really into gambling with them - there are opportunities to pump/dump or alternatively, short...but that takes timing, luck and big amount of $ to gamble with - you want to gamble in the market? Might want to look into options.

As long as the Elite use bitcoin as a store of value that will never happen.
