What Makes You Trust a Cryptocurrency Project?
There are thousands of cryptocurrency projects launching every year, but only a small percentage earn long-term trust.
When you're researching a project for the first time, what do you look for before deciding it's worth following?
For me, I usually check things like:
Team transparency
Whitepaper
GitHub activity
Token utility
Partnerships
Community engagement
Whether the project communicates consistently
I've also noticed that established projects tend to publish official announcements whenever they release important updates. It makes it easier to verify information instead of relying only on social media posts or rumors.
While looking into how different teams handle announcements, I found Crypto PR News Wire, which is one example of a crypto-focused announcement platform.
I'm curious about everyone else's approach.
What gives you confidence in a cryptocurrency project, and what are the biggest red flags that make you lose interest?
