| | | agent006140 | 03-14-2025 12:43 PM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? Russian central bank miscalculated and parked their billions of Euro $ in EU central banks before invading Ukraine, now other central banks are buying gold and not our US debts.
Some small African countries which have stored their gold in US have asked to have them returned ,they dont trust US and EU nations anymore.
Russian central bank now holds gold, cryptos and some Chinese debt. |
| murdered_by_ebay | 03-14-2025 12:52 PM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? russian central bank did not miscalculate , they always held less assets abroad than foreigners were holding in russia
russia has frozen a lot of foreign assets , primarily german ones , that is why the EU can not confiscate the frozen assets as germany does not allow it since german assets in russia would be confiscated in return |
| agent006140 | 03-14-2025 08:54 PM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? It is 300-350 billions seized, but gold is held in Russia and Chinese investments held in China.
Wonder why not buy more Swiss Franc?
Switzerland is not member of EU. |
| murdered_by_ebay | 03-14-2025 09:03 PM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? russia had to hold reserves in the west , it could not say no because it was a part of colonial policy - all client states must keep reserves in the west but a part of reserves was removed so that the actual amount was smaller + russia had already compiled a list of entities that would be frozen after the war breaks out and the EU also already had a list - they were both preparing in advance |
| agent006140 | 03-14-2025 09:14 PM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? Trump is pro Russia, the war could end soon.
Both sides suffer heavy casualty,I read Russia is deploying horses to avoid drone attack. |
| murdered_by_ebay | 03-14-2025 09:31 PM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? the war will continue until final collapse of ukraine because trump is not able to end the war at conditions which russia would accept. russia wants a long term solution while trump is offering a ceasefire so that ukraine could be re-armed and war could be re-ignited in a few months time |

| murdered_by_ebay | 03-14-2025 10:44 PM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? russians will take south east and the central ukraine , even if they do not say this publicly they will never give these territories to the west
odessa is a purely russian city founded by katherine the great , kiev this is where ancestors of a large portion of russians come from - they will never give it up
the rest can be divided between hungary , poland and romania |

this means there is no need to wait for 4 years as trump is not able to speak for the west but only for the USA which is not enough to end the war |

Some are controversial but still hold on. The big price push couple months ago for XRP & XLM was after the SEC easing on the lawsuit over XRP and the talks about those type of chains to be adopted for SWIFT. And thats just couple. |

It looks like ,just my own personal opinion, all the good things about Bitcoin has run its course (for the time being),people are so pessimistic with war, inflation, tariffs, loss of jobs, self esteem, that they have lost interest in just about everything but fill their stomach and pay their bills.
Dollar stores are not doing well, neither are Kohl,Macy,Irobotics,Johann,Foot locker,Nike?
I used to see AMZN Blue Care vans several times /day on my street, now I see one every few days?
I have been shopping at our local supermarket since the day it opened ,I have never seen so many markdown of meat, fish, bread, candy, cake close to expiration, and so many people using coupons (including myself) |

| murdered_by_ebay | 03-16-2025 02:40 AM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? I do not understand what you mean , the likes of litecoin or tron can not be frozen on the blockchain level without wide consensus , just like bitcoin
what can be frozen are derivative products , like for example USDT on TRON , that can be frozen even in cold wallets
and wide consensus would be a problem , changing things without it would destroy the token as it is impossible to do it secretly |

| murdered_by_ebay | 03-16-2025 11:01 PM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? superior is fast paymentS that get credited within a few seconds and low fees , close to zero fees
the problem with bitcoin is that it is bad as payment methods , transactions take about 20-40min to clear , fees may be high like the example with crypto.com where the exchange rate is very good but each BTC withdrawal costs about 38-39 USD |

| murdered_by_ebay | 05-01-2025 11:31 AM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? crypto is not liquid gold as a separate coin like bitcoin but it is in its entirety because unlike gold crypto can be held securely without anyone being able to seize it or without being able to find out it even exists if certain steps are taken and it can be moved worldwide within seconds |

| murdered_by_ebay | 05-01-2025 03:05 PM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? any crypto can be seized if security is not taken seriously
but if someone really want to hide it they can do it without problems , for example they can use trezor with two passwords - one to seed account and one to hidden account. the former would hold limited amounts of money ready to be seized , the latter all the rest which would not be visible to anybody even if they extort the seed phrase or break into the device and obtain the seed phrase they would not be able to access the hidden accounts and would not even know they exist |

| agent006140 | 05-02-2025 04:15 PM | Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? China is willing to talk and the US markets rallied.
But no firework in Cryptos and Gold?
China has been liquidating its US treasury holdings, plus other US obigations.
Japan threatens to withdraw from US treasury weekly auctions.
Both Japan and China are big buyers in our weekly auctions.
If so,then watch gold to reach higher and higher as central banks continue to add gold to their reserves.
At the same time, our Treasury would have to entice buyers by raising its interest rate higher and higher ,you figure the rest ! |
Re: Any Bitcoin or Cyrptocurrency enthusiasts? Have you checked out the weekly auctions agent? Any link to share? |

US Treasury has a website called Treasury Direct where you can ask them to invest your money ,choose the type (bills, notes, bonds) and date the auction takes place, you need to add a bank account.
Interest earned will be deposited into your bank account, principal is up to you,you can specify how many times you want it to be reinvested.
Say,you are going on an Arctic exploration or African safari, you can leave your money there,if you cant trust Uncle Sam,who can you trust ?
I dont know how it works for non US citizen or non US bank?
You can go to its site and find out more. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:20 PM. | |
