Id be willing to bet very few of us sell any TRUE niche stuff. I mean if you wanna say baseball bats or baseball supplies are niche everyones selling niche. A true niche item would be something more like mink oil for baseball gloves, now thats niche. A little truth from an ebay seller should be written in a bible because everyone is so afraid to tell what they sell.
I saw a guy shipping shirts in jewish/israel bags a month ago at the local usps and i said ahhh pro-israel shirts now thats niche and he said nah man theyre just plain shirts rofl. If this were true i wonder how many people grabbed that bag and was like wtf? Im not religously sensitive but id think twice before doing that.
Well, my are truly niche but I get suspended a lot LOL
Top rated plus sellers get a 10% discount on the FVF of the items sold, but not FVF on shipping.
10% means something for hi volume sellers. but it is not like before,it was 20%.
Other than the 10% discount, being top rated plus does not mean much ,you have to accept return in 30 days.
You could also try Google Trends to see the most trending items and then list it to get more sales. eventually reaching the top stop that you are carving for.

yes, sellers will snipe auction listings of other sellers and resell them on Ebay.
but not sure what is meant by being on page 1.
Some sellers will sell lots and then you can break them up and sell each piece,if it is worth your time/
depends on your interest and capital, you can buy from legit wholesalers and then sell on Ebay.
make sure you do not overpay
if there is a pawn shop near you and they are not selling online, you could work with them, there are also repair shops -watches,PC,electronics smalls, and customers never pic up their items.
