There is no real money in selling new release games. The big supermarket chains buy them in huge quantity and sell them at a minimal profit, in order to be competitive, it's almost impossible to compete with them, and most of them are on ebay too!
I've made money from games in the past by looking on local marketplaces like Facebook, Gumtree etc for people selling collections of 20+ second hand games and then bidding them a low price. Sometimes you get a great deal if you do this.
Also on ebay there are people auctioning collections of games which you can sometimes get very cheap too.
Ultimately there is more money in buying second hand games for £3 each and selling them for £10 + postage, than trying to sell new games where you end up making about £3 profit from a £30 outlay
