Ebay Account QUESTION - CHANGE of Ownership Possible

Hi everyone firstly - This is my own ebay in real details address and PP

• It is 18 years old
• Instant cash (PP)
• 349 FB

My question is I have sold questionably digital Products for someone and they have gone MIA - I have since had 3 refunds this year from bad keys (no idea why I refunded)

Questions:

1. Can I change ownership on it - Name, number, address etc
2. Will the previous/old history be attached? ( new ID)

I may want to keep it and am just wanting to wipe that part of teh history out or start anew?

No idea what to do at this point -

It is unnecessary since you only have 1 unique merchant ID, and you cannot change that.
So yes, you can easily be linked, and bounced back to your selling history.

yo cannot change the name of that account,unless you married and use your hubby surname.
but you can have as many Ebay seller IDs,if one is bad,it would bring all the others down
you can change the Ebay id,and buyer can click on history and see your old one

you should never let anyone sell using your account,you can sell for him if you know what he wants to sell,so you take full responsibility.

Why not just change the account selling name?

yes,she can,but the feedbacks stay.
you can just stop using the account,and open another seller ID,same person but different Ebay ID.
eBAY sellers usually have multiple ids,to buy,to sell,to browse,to chat etc

The feedbacks are not the issue but the selling history may be - essentially I do not want "his sold Items" to hinder my account?

I think you're reading into it too much, i would just update the business account info to another business and sell low risk physical goods for maybe 1-2 months, people don't usually dig around like you're thinking

Hi I agree but its not so much about digging but more about refunds on his products...even thoiugh its past the 1 year date

If I change business name can I inform them - that ...the previous ebay business (ID) is no longer in existence> I am a new owner? or would that violate any TOS

Nope, do not tell them as you might be reported. I once being asked of documents or Proof for Rights of Ownership of the account.

I think the only option at this point is to delete the account and move into the mountains.

Live off the land.

Learn some basic farming skills and distance yourself from society.

They are coming for you.
