Dropshipping/Timing... Help!

Hello,

I currently have a stealth account that I have been working on easing my way into. I just sold my first small item on eBay via a 7 day auction. According to the awesome person who sold me my stealth accounts, I am okay to put up 2 new products. Here are my questions:

- With the next 2 items, would you think doing 1 of them as a drop ship would be okay if I found a users photo of it instead of stock image?

- When can I start doing normal dropshipping? That is my end game, so after spending $ on my accounts I need to make sure I am doing this 100% the right way.

Don't listen to agent.. she obviously works for the FBI or something like that..

You can start with dropshipping from the very beginning if you have a supplier you can actually count on to communicate with you about stock levels, lead times, carriers used, etc.

The only way I see dropshipping as feasible is if you're chatting 1-on-1 with the person who's filling your orders, every day. I do this for a couple 'dropship sellers' and have been doing so for about 3 years now. We all do well with it, money flows, and nobody loses accounts. But it's time consuming and I'm constantly talking with the people who have my stuff listed.

But if you're just trying to dropship from Amazon or some other faceless impersonal company, you don't stand a chance. A lot of communication is required to maintain your account metrics when you're not filling any of your own orders.. and you're just not going to get that level of communication if you're dropshipping from a megaseller and/or retailer. Hit me up if you wanna dropship my stuff, lol.
