New Amazon Account - Mobile Number Already in Use
Hey - was creating a new Amazon seller account with a friend and received the prompt - "You indicated you are a new customer, but an account already exists with the mobile number"
I'm trying to help them through the process, but I'm kind of stumped as I've never seen this before.
Basically this is for a new seller account, they have never opened a seller account before and also they have a prime account.
I think that what's happening is amz is connecting the phone number to the prime account. if we continue with the phone number it will deactivate the prime account.
Curious for feedback and if my assumption is correct - and also if a prepaid phone would work for this situation?
