DHgate is down due to hacker...
 

Was told that DHgate was down due to a hack attack from someone in Russia. Information was from a source inside DHgate. :)

How could a hacker remove money from an e-wallet? It's not like you can transfer it elsewhere....

still now working. i haven't been able to access the site for about 2 days now. Guess ill switch over to tradetang.com for awhile. Haven't ordered from there in forever.

Dhgate's still working for me since last night, here's a note from their site:

By now on May 10 and 11, a breakdown of network interface connected to outside China has occurred in the neighbourhood where DHgate.com servers are located. It caused a temporary unstable platform and affected our services to you. For this, you may have not been able to log in to our website or My DHgate, nor to make payment or contact sellers or use some online customer service. Replies to your emails or messages may also have to come to you later than usual.

They are back up but little bit slow. The guy from DHgate told me that, the hacker was after the wire transfers coming in. So I do believe it was something with the e wallet because that's how those are funded.

Tried it just now and not getting anything - maybe my comp but weird nonetheless.

The hackers keep attacking the system. All the money DHgate makes they need to upgrade their systems!

They claim their internet servers were taken out or something. I got on earlier.

Just tried it again using firefox and verizon network, it's still up for me.

I was able to get on about an 1 hour ago then it just went down again. They seem to be working on it so it should be up and running soon.

2 days and no access at all for me. it has been down the whole time

Site is up this morning. The info I gave out was given to me from one of the Dhgate workers. Do you think they would actually post anything if they were being hacked? . SMH at some people here!

also if you log-in to your dhgate account you will get this message:
