Dhgate is an escrow unless you approve the shipment the seller does not get paid.NOt many room for scammers that way

Shipping back items to China? that is way too expensive. Even with USPS, I had to ship back 5 lbs of items, they wanted $75 for it.
Obviously I never did and got the items resent. The whole order did not worth $75.

Hopefully you paid with a credit card, just file a dispute saying the items you received were not what you ordered.

You are not responsbile for return shipping when it was the sellers fault.

DHgate isnt good & aliexpress is overpriced. Alibaba, globalsources etc will give you an indication of some suppliers, but make sure you shop around & bargain hard as you'll definatley be getting quoted the special 'foreign friend' price
