Default Question on quality of item

could someone possibly answer a quick question? I have recently purchased 400 designer ties from a liquidator for 141 and after realizing thats only .35 a tie I am really worried that these are possibly knock off?

It is on an auction site but I don't want trouble from posting a link, however I cannot find a single thread about them selling replicas just quality being worse than posted - and I bought shelf pulls.

Is it possible that the ties I bought aren't replica and if so how can .35/tie possibly be good? Also, why would a replica maker go out of their way to sell at such a low price if so... Please help,

Welcome to the forums. I can't comment on business models without a *cough* of my own but you might as well try to sell them. Are they branded? Where is your source - Asia?

Can I guess? Liquidation.com?

If so, they are probably the real thing. BUT, shelf-pulls means they were pulled from being displayed at a retail store. They could have stains, loose threads, signs of use, or just be plain ugly.

In other words, these are not going to be the hottest designs in mint condition.

You CAN make some money with these, but some may need to be thrown away, some may need mending and others may need to be cleaned.

According to your description, the price is much cheaper than real one,so i guess the items must be not genuine.

But you are still can sell them if the quality is good, but you need to tell the truth to your customers before they buy and also you need to sell the stuffs at cheaper price,so they can accept it.

Finally,do not deal with it again. Also donot forget do some more researching before you go ahead with any bulk orders.
