| Dmshark25 | 06-07-2013 03:52 AM | USPS being very stingy with padded flat rate envelopes I have to put in 5 orders of flat rate priority envelopes to even get one pack of 15 delivered which takes 6-8 weeks. Before the most the padded flat rate came in were packs of 15, so I neede to put 12 orders in hoping 3 would arrive. I just noticed you can now get a pack of 100 padded flat rate envelopes which could be great however again it's over 3 weeks I place ld 2 orders and nothing. Small rate boxes come quick just so hard to get the flare padded envelopes
Anyone else experience this when ordering padded envelopes anything I can do to get my order??? |

In the meantime, hopefully you find a solution |
Sandy D | 06-07-2013 06:13 PM | Yes.
They usually allow 15 at a time.
Has been this way for a long time.
The solution----
I order a pack of 15 in the morning.
Go back and order a pack of 15 in the afternoon.
Go back and order another back of 15 late at night.
Also, repeat the same in the DH name account.
Also, repeat the same at one of my PO Boxes.
Works for me.
Hope this helps.
Might tick them off if it ever gets caught but so far so good.
You might not want to order as many as I do right off the bat but I have done this for a long while now. |
jeffweico | 06-07-2013 07:55 PM | I asked about this at the USPS, and the lady told me that they are always low on those. Best guess is there is a manufacturing problem, or people are using them for other things and the USPS is trying to stop that. |
GreenBean | 06-07-2013 08:08 PM | Another essential organisation in disarray.
There is always some excuse that stops their working efficiently.
I wonder when it will end.

:nono: | When investors stop buying US treasuries.... |
Dmshark25 | 06-07-2013 09:26 PM | Sandy take a look now before the highest option you could get at a time was 15 padded envelopes.
now they just added 100 padded envelopes I put one order in a week the first being 3 weeks ago but still nothing.
But if they actually do deliver 100 at a time this would be great , it usually takes about 6 weeks and I get like 2 packs of 15 out of 8 packs that I order, so a pack of 100 even if one goes through would be great. |

| Sandy also gave another good hint.
If your schedule allows, use two different USPS places and make multiple visits.
At least one office might be run efficiently, surely?
 |

sergfro | 06-11-2013 12:12 PM | You can actually call them (number on the website) give them your userID or account # and they will mail as many as you want. I order 200 every other week. Quote:

Not again.
Questioned me to pieces.
What are you doing with all of these bubble mailers.
Will you be using them to mail items or for other reasons?
These are free to be used to mail items only.
Many are using them for packaging and we do not allow that. If we open a box that has these in them we will take issues with it with the sender.
We can track packages because most of our items now have codes on them and we can follow to see if an item has been used or not scanned etc.
PITA. |
