Default Buying branded items from Police auction

Hi all,
I'm looking at purchasing a wholesale lot of branded items from a police auction. If they get removed off ebay when I list them, will a receipt from the auction house showing they are a police seizure be enough to save me? Because apparently the Police destroy all counterfeit items. thanks

Oh look, flying pigs!!!!!

Do not overlook the fact that those items may not be acceptable to be sold on ebay because of the IP rights issue.

I have heard of a seller who purchased such goods & got suspended when they were listed on ebay uk.

Proceed with caution.

A lot of the time police will not state that the item being sold is authentic in the auction details, so I would not rely on that too much

@JamesNorth101

Must find the auction put up by some North Wales Police Station that wanted to sell illegal knives. Someone did not do their homework

Lol, Tricky tricky. The seller is selling and has sold a few in another listing also. They aren't top top brands, I mean, I've never heard of them before.

Then stay away from them.

Do not be tempted by the fact they are being 'released' by the Police & so will bypass VeRo rights.

Bluntly put, they may not
