I'm just going to sit this one out and hope the package gets to me ok. Better late than never I suppose .
My first order from China so its exiting and a little bit frustrating at the same time .

So i sent a reply, I spoke to FedEx on-line .
They told me there where no problems there end.
So its as some of you have said it was a backlog with the factory or something.

So I replied questioning the hold up with FedEx and this is what they replied.

hongkong FedEx IE.
which FedEx you checked?
in hongkong or in your country?
I am really gloom with your attitudes...
every time you are suspicious on us and it seemed every word from us is cheating on you...
you are using alibaba security payment, I really do not know what you are worried.
we did not get your money yet and it is at alibaba account.if you did not receive your goods,we can not get any money.

(every time you are suspicious on us) yes I have never met you :0.

so I replied apologising , even though I was only asking questions in the original email. I don't want to cause anyone any stress or offend anyone.

so then I get this today .

it is ok.
we have started our holiday and will be back on Feb26th.
talk then.

I feel like a little kid who has given some older boys some money to go and get them a can of beer , and they just don't bother coming back.


I always assume the best of people but I feel like they have let me down.

Your order is just not a priority for them, it's not big enough or establish buyer so your order goes to the back of their queue. You'll get it just have to wait longer this time of the year. Next time find another supplier or once you order again or higher quantity they will give you more priority. Just the way it is

All the factories and shipping centers are closed. And even if you want to cancel, they will not agree because it's "shipped." Then you will magically get new tracking numbers after the holiday after they blame fedex for losing the original package. Aliexpress will do nothing to help. Youre just kinda beat. I've had this same exact issue. Its not about priority. Everything is shut down there right now

Fedex is not a great way to ship stuff from Alibaba...I mean from China

Just a bad time of the year for your first order, don't worry too much.

I'm sure everything will be fine, it's just frustrating to have to wait.

Emails don't give you a good idea on the other person's attitude, so they may be okay with you but without any facial expressions it's hard to know.. different culture and translation issues.

Don't feel down, and just get planning for when your parcel lands! :D

some info about china for their new years. most go on holiday on 8th but shipping companies still take packages and ship until tomorrow which is 12th/13th if I'm not mistaken.

Most of these companies on alibaba use agents to get better deals and thats usually where the backlog with tracking not updating happens
