Have you tried that with a picture with the receipt? I'm still trying to get inside the head of Ebay's machines. It's like why take that long if it's a machine right? Should knock it out within a few hours at most, and that would be because their processors are too slow to do it within 1 minute.

Vero rights owner has to email ebay, then ebay rep has to send to member to member department for review.
It is a slow process.

If a vero owner does not want you to sell, then they dont want you to sell.

Because I posted that my best selling item that I do not own the brand was just removed.
First time this year I have had this, but I have been in constant battles with them over MAP all year sooo they finally got smart.

Just means I will run auctions.....

I ran auctions too, still got pulled. I guess I'll have to go hardball on them prove those items are legit. Target and Walmart is legit right? First sale doctrine is legit right? First sale doctrine benefits eBay right? The last sentence is a reference to jeffweico, since he always writes 20 pages per post on how eBay/Amazon will do what's in their benefit. So, just got to play hardball. The companies vero agent is not the law.

Well, today has been really bad. Haven't counted how many, but I'm guessing 10 accounts suspended. All things I have been selling for the last 2 years too!

Portable browsers, new accounts, old accounts with feedback. I just got 4 more suspended as we speak! One of them, was pretty good, 30 items sold maybe , 1 vero used, one broken iPhone 6, I clearly stated as broken. Also, they were all connected to inkfrog.

And I did check the browsers, no flash.

No that is not what I said. I said eBay does their take downs over a period of days and if you have two or three of the same item you may get hit over multiple days vs all at once. eBay has no say in what comes down, but they do control how they process their takedowns and they have been sporadic in taking, for example, a handful of listings down from a list of 100+ and coming back the next day and removing the other 90.

Are these clothing items? I know a few companies are going scorched earth on a few products.

So are you saying this will only happen over a few days? If so, I should cool it for a week or so? Thanks for the info. And no, they are not clothing. But let's just say that they are on the risky side, but I do have receipts. I'm even prepared to make an account, 5/500, call in to ask for a raise, provide ID, AND receipts! What do you think of that plan? Will that protect me from this ridiculous onslaught? Thanks.

Typically, if you get one hit and have others anticipate a hit again over that week.

I have no idea on your other question. I only sell products at this point that I legally own and have the rights to. My difference is I only use a merchant account, not Paypal. I get all my money the next day and avoid the middle man. I haven't noticed a huge difference on eBay as a lot of people are happy to pay directly with a card vs Paypal.

Ok, I had a 1 or 2 hit 3 weeks ago. This week it was hitting me like a mother fu...

What I was asking was if I just stop making accounts for like a week, let this hot period cool off, I can resume? Again these are my staples for the last 2 years, never had a problem with it until these 2 weeks. Again, I'm prepared with receipts, invoices everything.

I don't know. It depends on how often they are monitoring this product now. Have you tried reaching out to the rights holder? I have people reach out all the time and I withdrawal complaints after we reach an agreement.

Anyone have a rough estimate at the success rate with contacting vero when you got receipts, invoices, etc. ?

It's gonna vary by vendor. Just reach out. The worst that can happen is they ignore you, the best gets your listings and store back.

Really depends.
Lets say it is Microsoft or Disney etc...Not likely to reply.

Lets say it is Nest and they test purchased and found your items fine but dont like the pricing, they may communicate with you to find out why you can sell at what seems to be a loss.

But I doubt any manufacturer or rights owner is going to trust your Walmart receipts. I mean, we all can create hundreds of them for cheap money these days.

Well, just gonna have to give them a try with the new account I'm making right now as I am typing this. Gonna email them, give them a call and show them my receipts, see what's up with that. It's really annoying though. This was my staple for the last 2 years!

They give you the VeRO agent's email every time a listing is removed. Sending a message to that email would probably be easier than trying to get ahold of the right department by phone.

Judging by the ruthlessness of the agent for whatever company's product you're trying to sell, I doubt you'll have any luck either way. Some companies just want complete control of their retail sales.
