Vero working full-time this time of year?
 

Got like 12 listings pulled in the last 2 weeks. How do you guys get rid of them once and for all? Post a receipt with the product? Invoice snapshot?

You don't/can't get rid of them, lol. A VeRO takedown doesn't necessarily mean you're selling a counterfeit item, it means you're selling an item which the verified rights owner does not want you to sell.

I know it's not what you want to hear, but it's the truth. Only option is to reach out to the rights owner seeking permission to sell their item.

Their active throughout the year, I would imagine more during this period than any other time of the year though.

I've been having problems as well in regards to VeRO the past 1-2 months. Products that I have been selling for 3+ years with no problems have been getting taken down rapidly and this is with multiple accounts.

Yea, this has been the most active, couldn't believe so much has been taken down.

Yeah most companies tighten up on that sort of thing around Christmas time because you are taking their sales.

Be careful with your experimenting. Wouldn't want to see another member served with a lawsuit. :/

Thx dude, but all legit regardless. Even after that, stealth methods is pretty good, so double protection.

Not in my realm of eBay. Had multiple sellers in my category who are selling clearly phake items with lots of negative reviews saying items are counterfeit and eBay won't lift a finger.

Ebay's fingers won't be lifted until it becomes a problem for Ebay. As long as they are raking in cash for Ebay and the VeRO isn't complaining, Ebay turns a blind eye and the seller keeps on keeping on.

It is the opposite for me. I had alot and have not had any removals of any kind in the past 3 months. From what i find wording/pictures and a older account with alot of feedback seems to have stopped my listings from getting removed that were getting removed before. Best of luck to you anyway though!

No can do, still getting some of my stuff removed. I guess I'll have to take a picture with a receipt next to the item.

As someone who uses VERO to monitor their own product, I have been getting most takedowns processed within 2-4 days. If you have multiples of the same item it could be spread out over that period or you got hit with a second wave.

I firmly believe this is why it is in your best interest to sell these higher risk items in summer slow months so that you can sell in high season also. I see a lot of seasonal flyby sellers in holidays that try to list high risk items and almost always get removed.

What do you mean by second wave? So Ebay does determine themselves whether to take the items down or not? Thanks.

Ebay is removing the items because the VERO rights owner tells them to. Ebay does not do it themselves.

Oh well, the way gladiator was saying was as if eBay determines it. Why would it take 2-4 business days if Vero had absolute power right? Looks like I'll do some more experimenting. I'm going to take pictures with receipts to prove that those products are mine.

I submit the report to ebay and 3-5 days later listings are removed.

It is not like I log into ebays system and remove the listing myself. It takes a few days for ebay to process it.

I VERO my pictures and titles as well now. I remove any listing that uses my pictures or titles. Takes 3-5 days. Never less than 3 and so far not more than 5 days.

Sales are going up near Christmas, so they are taking down eBay sellers to boost their own sales. Happens every year.

My best selling item that I dont own the brand was just removed. Over 1200 sales this month so far. Oh well. Time to run auctions.
