Infact I've only ever had paypal limitations, ebay accounts seem to be rock solid even after loosing paypal accounts to chargebacks. Although I was never that high volume seller. And never received much negative feedback lol. |
| skinnyhardaway | 07-23-2014 12:45 PM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? Is this even still possible in todays ebay world? lol |
| oompaloompa | 07-23-2014 01:00 PM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? just withdraw regularly and have back-ups...If I sell a high value item, I withdraw before I send, even if it means delaying posting a bit ...
nowadays it is really rare for me to lose an account...havent for years....the goods you sell make all the difference, high risk/vero and you will be on the merry-go-round constantly.... |
| herstuffhisgear | 07-23-2014 01:59 PM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? I have 5 accounts running right now, I have had over 20 accounts in rotation and sometimes they get suspended for no apparent reason but the 5 I have running have been going strong for awhile (knock on wood) but I need to not be lazy and make some back up accounts, If any of them got suspended I'd kick myself for not having backups. |

That makes sense. I want to give eBay UK a try one of these days… |
Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? Since implementing stealth, many accounts have gone unmolested for close to 5 years at the most :) on my end |
| Youngb | 08-14-2014 02:49 PM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? Looking at the polls, it makes a lot of sense why there are so many account suspensions. Its not linking its mainly one thing; VERO VERO VERO... This is my rule of thumb... Never sell VERO unless you want a short term account. The only time my accounts has been suspended was for selling VERO nothing else. If your account gets shut down for VERO do not open another account and sell the same thing, you will be shut down within days. Just my 2 cents. Carry on... |

| shaan | 01-20-2015 05:01 PM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? 10 months so far with alot of money coming in over the months still up and running but along the way i lost few stealths due to rushing in things :) |
| Goublin | 01-23-2015 11:12 PM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? Set up 1 stealth and another in pipe line. I really struggled to sort change my IP address with my modem, what I am doing is seperate accounts on my computer, then only logging in by pairing my iPhone as the ip can be changed easily- senior members opinion here would be good
Other thing, does anyone do well on other sites? I do well on gumtree. Would love it if another site could/would give the ebay twats a good run for their money |

| muzzie | 02-13-2015 06:38 AM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? One account - vero
Second - not able to provide documents
Third - selling highrisk items
Routine of a vero trader, nothing special. |

| frksmth | 02-16-2015 02:01 PM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? I have two paypal accounts (eBay suspended a long time ago!) completing 3 years now, another one (with eBay intact) also about 3 years now.
My Amazon accounts fared better, I think. Two of them are almost 4 years now (both have US and UK selling accounts) and the other one is 2 years. |
| smithers4492 | 02-23-2015 10:14 AM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? My first account I started with got suspended after about 6 months, basically I was very new, very stupid and was selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ products (that HUNDREDS of others were also selling) but just had so many people complaining they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or low quality etc... (which in fairness they were) that I got banned for having too many complaints and low feedback!
I managed to get a new account though, one I made years ago but forgot about and have been using that for roughly 7 months now, and even though I haven't been selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ crappy items and have done literally EVERYTHING I could possibly do to be as good a seller as possible it really is still incredibly hard! 1 negative feedback in the past 6 months or so, but had a rough January few people wanting returns/trying to exploit free items, one more negative feedback all collectively pushed me from 'Top Rated Seller' all the way down to 'Below Standard' but now for whatever reason I've completely turned it around in less than 6 weeks, gotten back up to top rated and been given gold powerseller status...
Moral of the story, eBay is an unbelievably fickle, unpredictable ridiculous website, so screw them and screw their insane rules, because it seems that NOTHING you do can actually keep you safe as a seller! eBay stealth is the only way! |
| muzzie | 02-24-2015 07:49 AM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? VeRO is really high-risk, but usually is worth it. So having 20+ accs makes VeRO selling really nice and easy-going. Even if the things one sells are 100% authentic, lots of accs is a must, just in case, because becoming an authorized seller sometimes is just impossible, especially, for things not bought from an official distributor. A friend of mine bought around 100 pairs of genuine sport equipment things that allow to jump and run faster, for a bargain price, all authentic. But then it turned out that VeRO forbids to sell these things anywhere except their own online store. So there are sometimes no legit ways to sell an authentic thing. | | All times are GMT -5.
