Default Just had a perfect account get toasted.

This is the first time I have had a perfect account with 0 vero strikes get suspended with no explanation. The account was aged since Aug with a start on sales in Nov. Had over 15,000 in sales with no defects, no questions asked refunds, 100% feedback. The account also ran on the same VPN.

What would have caused an immediate suspension? I tried to call in, but even the call code would not work. Feedback score even reads "no longer a user". Has this happened to many of you guys?

What is the suspension code?

I would call in to find out what was going on.

It sounds like it could have been a linking issue to another account

What this exactly means? Could have been linked by VPN?

I would follow elmo suggestion above and call in.

It didnt even give a reference code. It would just go to a suspension page. The code that you call in with would not even identify the account through the automated calling system to speak to a rep.

It just means I never changed VPNs or used a bad service that could have recycled it.

" start on sales in Nov. Had over 15,000 in sales"
I am not an expert but this would be a red flag to me if i was ebay 15k in 2-3 months on a new account.
I could be wrong but that us the only reason i would see unless accounts got linked.

Over 5k a month on a new account? Just because they say you can doesn't mean you should.

So when they suspend you, they send you an email. Can you post the email, so we have a better chance at helping? Otherwise, it could be a number of things and you would only get blind guesses.

Oddly enough, they gave a limits increase to the 40k dollar range two weeks prior.

As for the email, it was the generic risk email about "protecting the community" with the list of items removed. No vero or replica warnings. No contact or email link to resolve.

That is true. I just let the account run wild because of the holidays. Normally, I would not allow that massive of influx.

Where the phones active?

To me it sounds like they are 100% certain you are not who you say you are OR they have proof beyond any doubt you sell items they dont want sold.

How is the health of the paypal?

I had the same thing happen to me. They first told me it was a glitch. But account never got unsuspended. So I called back and they said permanent ban and would not tell me why. 100% feedback, no vero items ever posted. Turned out I was using a phone app on a phone number that account was suspended. Funny thing is 6 months later they unsuspended the account it was linked to? Weird.

If your account was just created in November and you sold $15k....of course they are going to suspend you. One of my accounts got reamed around Black Friday and I had only sold $2000. Had to submit docs and when I got the account reinstated, they gave me a MUCH lower selling limit that I had. Just how it goes.

That's scary you mention that. I had to call PayPal through burner and I'm curious it didn't release the real cell number and PayPal triggered it somehow.

If you try to re-read the OP, nothing is mentioned about PayPal

Helping you clarify

No effect on Paypal as of current. That is the only trace that this account could have possibly had at all.

What is shocking about this account, they raised my account limits not only two weeks ago to almost double. It just doesn't make sense.

It is ebay so it does not need to make sense.

They also start brand new accounts out with 1000/25,000 limits....doesn't mean they're going to let you freely sell that amount without throwing a flag and asking you for documentation.

What were you selling?

What VPN service were you using?

Did you log in from any different device?

Did you use pics youve used before?

Youre account didnt get suspended. It straight out got DELETED.

Ill guess they saw you running off a VPN site or someone complained to Ebay about counterfeit items. Those 2 things will get you DELETED without an email. Other than fraud abuse, etc. You might have got a recycled VPN IP that got blacklisted from EBAY in the past.
