My eBay Stealth is run off on my legit business, basically eBay is in a different trading number. And all orders goes back through my internal account system.
I am vat registered.
On eBay I avoided giving my vat number as I scare to have it linked. But I am unable to claim vat on my eBay fees at the moment.
What are the ways round it?
Many thanks

As per vat regulations, ebay must know your vat number to actually process the invoices VAT free... so maybe just get a new company with a new VAT number when you reach the trading level or just consider the VAT as a fee for stealth?
Ideally you want to stay under the VAT threshold when using ebay accounts. When you begin to hit those digits in terms of sales, you will get reviewed a lot more. Best way to do that is spread sales between multiple accounts.
I'd love to do that. but my market does not allow me to do so as each item is quite high in value. the only possible way is to focus building 2 accounts at once.
Be very careful HMRC is targeting ebay traders for vat avoidance ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or wrong number will get you in to the trouble they do have tool now to check vat returns and compare with ebay turnover just type in google ebay crackdown and latest threads

I just want to elaborate on the point I made above - using multiple accounts to spread your sales is not for the purpose of VAT avoidance, it is simply so you avert ebay's attention.
Any VAT/Other forms of taxes that arise from your sales *when added together from all the accounts you operate* - you are still accountable to pay them.
