| Aguero | 06-23-2017 03:42 PM | eBay first item Hi guys,
I read a lot threads about how to start selling with new stealth but i have one question. I have a good local cheap item to make quick and nice feedback. Do you think it will be a red flag to eBay robots to make many stealth using same first item ? I will make different photos with differend device and will make different looking listings.
Thanks in advance. |
| dallis | 06-24-2017 09:31 AM | Re: eBay first item Probably will be fine. |
| slokor | 06-24-2017 11:55 AM | Re: eBay first item Shouldn't be an issue as long as the listings look different and as long as the item is not too unique. |
| Aguero | 06-24-2017 02:12 PM | Re: eBay first item Thanks guys.
Item is not unique i hope so and there is a few different models.
What can you tell about images, to buy new camera or clean meta data with Batch Purifier or better solution ? I am looking for the safest way to do this |
| jakobrockz | 06-24-2017 02:15 PM | Re: eBay first item No need to buy a new camera but different angles, lightning, backgrounds help |
| Aguero | 06-24-2017 02:19 PM | Re: eBay first item Sounds good but how to clean the photos ? |
| dallis | 06-25-2017 03:21 PM | Re: eBay first item Millions of threads on this, there's one just a few up from this. |

| Nope - perfectly fine (so long as its not a super unique niche). Just make sure to vary up the listing, pictures, etc. Quote:
clean meta data with Batch Purifier or better solution
| I've been using batch purifier for a while now, and it works a treat.
Just remember, the free version only cleans jpg format images, so if you put anything else in the mix, it will not clean it, and wont notify you either.
Good tip is once the process is finished, it will tell you how many images have been purified, i.e. 10 out of 10, etc. just make sure its always all images. |

About first another good news :)
Is it a good idea to continue selling low risk items after i made good feedback or after that i just can start selling risk and profitable items ? |

Then slowly introduce other products, i.e. make 1 listing, with 1 qty.
Many people make a mistake by making 1 listing, and setting the QTY to a large amount. This is a bad idea. You still need to show eBay you can cope with selling and providing a good service. Always take things slow. |
| Aguero | 08-16-2017 01:42 PM | Re: eBay first item Sounds very cool :)
If i make 30 positive feedback in a month will be a rush to put other products i.e. one or two per week one a only two months aged account? |
| SaiJin | 08-16-2017 02:20 PM | Re: eBay first item if the products are cheap, I don't see a problem getting 30 feedbacks/mo
so you'd possibly be selling like 50-60 items since I believe 50% of users leave feedback, unless they are super happy with your speed and service |

Do it like that for a few sales to "get the ball rolling".
Then you can start listing higher quantities of the said product. |

Of course going slow can test one's patience, especially from the get go. So in that case, you should open multiple accounts, and the slow sales from all of them put together will amount to something more worthwhile.
An added bonus is you have multiple accounts, in case one ever goes down. |
| Aguero | 08-18-2017 04:20 PM | Re: eBay first item I remembered this important point in stealth from your other post. I strictly adhere to this advice. I should not put my all eggs in one basket :) I believe this way i can stay longer under radars. I made PayPal with my own debit card. It takes time to be issued from the bank also they charged me monthly. Before two days i was at the bank and they asked me why i need another Visa :) I couldn't believe. They messed my ZIP code and put another non sense digits. These thigs make me more slow. I am not sure is it a good idea to use VCC for withdraws and which of them is good for EU PayPal withdraws. Here we have VCC, Gift cards and Prepaid cards but only thing that i can do with them is to use them for online shopping, pity. |

Most UK users use savings bank accounts, and just withdraw their paypal balance there. |

Thanks for the posts
I have not yet opened another paypal acc so new little new to this.
You advise opening multiple ebay accounts which is a great idea but must they all be linked to multiple paypal accounts. if so can the paypal stealth acc be linked to our actual savings bank acc. will that not flag if we put our real name under the Bank Account name category when connecting it to paypal. |

PayPal cannot see the name on the bank. Yes, 1 eBay, per PayPal. |

Thanks in advance. | Don't worry you won't give any flag until your IP change. And use 1 account per IP with paypal |
