Went from 10 to 350 item limits on brand new account
 

Account is about 40 days old. Stealth. Limits 10/$1000. 3 feedback, two sales.

Called in and got 350/$17k. I have strategies if anyone wants to know.

Not particularly high but good. My question is, what are you going to do with these limits? Paypal will limit you well before you reach those monthly limits. Do you have a plan for this?

Not bad at all but it still does not guarantee you from the 50 other issues which may occur.

That's not bad for a call-in limit increase but I doubt it's record breaking. Nearly every time I've called in I get a 50% increase, either as a higher item limit or dollar limit. The automatic limit increases have always been much more generous for me personally.

limits increasing automatically very fast, if you don't have many opened cases, disputes, listing removals and restrictions.

but keep in mind that you have to start slow and make slow/steady growth.

paypal don't care about your ebay limits

Pretty sure most of these guys never even call in on their accounts in the first place, highly doubt they'd know what a "large" increase from a call in is.

The largest I've personally gotten is double, so 350% is fantastic!

Yes, I'd love to hear how you went from 10 to 350 in one phone call.

True, no need to call in when you can make accounts with at least 1,000/$25,000 selling limits or higher from the get-go.

I'm a man of the people...the common man has NO CLUE how to do it, but ANYONE can call eBay for easy and fast limit increases. :)

Of course I know it isnt a record, just some excitement considering I thought you couldnt even get an increase after 90 days.

Those asking about my PayPal - completely verified. Business account with verified EIN, phone, bank, CC, ect.

I need the limits because I sell a lot of product, I took a break a while back but before doing that I was selling about 100,000 items a year that ranged in prices from $5-150... feedback fodder to boost the denominator for ease of keeping good standing.

This is the real question everyone should be asking about. It doesn't matter if you have the highest limit on the eBay universe, everyone is treated the same. Suspensions come and go. You have to spread that risk by building accounts now before it is too late.

My questions is why do you want to increase the limit to that high. You will not need that much limit anyways,

The limits aren't really that high.

Guys here sell accounts with limits of 1000 items to brand new sellers everday.

Wow Great Job! I have some really high limits and some really low.

I actually have an account that has been 10 > $1000 for 6yrs! Without one increase. I sell up to 10 every month. Usually in first 2 weeks. This kind of increase would be welcomed!

10x increase is also very good Redneck!

With "natural" (i.e. auto) increases, I usually only get about 2-3x the limits that I start with, which is decent, but 10 or 35x is way better!

BTW these limits are unusually good, even to my standards. Are these recent increases? Lately I haven't been calling as I'm pretty satisfied with all my accounts limit wise, maybe this is a new policy? Or did you use a special technique? My technique is "play dumb", I can imagine acting professional could result in higher increases.

A 10 to 100 limit increase has always been standard on ebay uk. For years you could do it the same day you opened the account.

That isn't standard for eBay US. They're a little more greedy. Best from 10 is about 75, but they typically like to increase it from 10 to either 30 or 50.

You don't want to try to sell the numbers you referenced on a single account any more, you need more like 10 unlinked diverse accounts to be safely sell those kind of numbers these days.

Hey, how did you get your account to a 350 limit from just 10? I'd really appreciate it if you told me.
I have an account with a 5 starting limit and its a new 2 day old account with an unverified PayPal attached to it. So, can you tell me if its possible to do it?

The issue with sharing such sensitive strategies is that they don't last long. As soon as others find out, it gets abused and patched by eBay fairly quickly.

I'm not saying don't share, but rather brace yourself because sooner or later this strategy will become useless and you'll need to spend weeks/months figuring out an alternative.

I'm sorry to be asking this as I'm still a newbie to eBay stealth. What does a verified paypal bring extra? I've been asking on the forums and I've been told that we get the automatic limit increase even on unverified ones and the 200/20k limit is the same.

Basically when you create a Paypal account, the steps Paypal walks you through to complete the creation. Complete email, phone, card or bank verification.

You can get auto increases on ANY account, in theory.

But anyone with any experience will tell you that your odds of getting high limit accounts can be increased or decreased by what you do and don't do.

But go ahead and tell us about what you already know.

you guys worry too much about these ebay limits.
on brand new account, its very simple to get automatic increase as long as you keep good account performance (no listing removals, cases, disputes, negatives)

Could not agree more.
I don`t come on here very often..only if I am wanting to see if there is anything new.
But boy the backstabbing/bitching since I last had a look in is unbelievable.
This used to be a good forum now its all my Dad`s bigger than your Dad etc.
Some need to grow up.
