Is this something new?

Recently i decided to raise my selling limits and give them a call, but when i clicked it, it gave me 2 options. 1 was to call them and they would give me there number, and 2 was email. Is this something new because i remember trying a few months ago and it only gave me a one time passcode.

They're probably trying to mitigate the call volume. So if you're in no rush, then e-mail is ok. There is a lot less finess with an e-mail though.. a lot easier to deny people. If you can get on the phone with a normal person, and have them know you sound like a normal person.. it is more likely to happen. They ask the same kind of questions either way I would imagine.

I've never seen this, it must be new. What exactly does it prompt you to do if you select that option?

Like he said, I'd take the phone option, much easier to feed them over the phone, you just chat and act like an office buddy, make jokes, by the time the questions roll around they already like you and have decided to give you an increase anyways.

The reality is if your account is in good standing it's really up to the reps mood and how much they like you to how much of an increase you get. The standards are a joke. They just check to see if you stutter and hang up, or if you say "I don't have any inventory, I'm drop-shipping from China". If you don't do those things, they give you some kind of increase, but the amount is determined by the reps mood, like I said.
