My IP Address Changed by itself. Should I...

Should I take the opportunity to create another stealth back up eBay account on this new IP address?

I have Charter Spectrum. I had no idea an IP can change by itself like that.

lol and then what? You're still going to need to login to your old account(s).

Also IP is WAYYY overrated on eBay....

Once you've created the accounts you can basically login on whatever you want.....

I've gone from having an account suspended then using a new backup account on the same IP the same day and even called in that day to get a limits increase----no issues.

eBay knows about stealth, they just don't really care as long as you don't blatantly break the rules, in my experience. If you're OBVIOUS about it (naming yourself as "John Doe") yeah, you're not going to get away with it, but otherwise they don't seem to care much.

Now I don't RECOMMEND doing anything like this, I'm just saying it's not worth stressing out about if you login with the wrong IP. Cookies and photo metadata, same PayPal accounts, etc are MUCH bigger issues as far as linking is concerned.

Just so no one gets the wrong idea:

DO NOT intentionally use the same IP or any other linking factor on multiple accounts. Just realize that forgetting to change your IP once or twice isn't likely to kill your accounts. Some of you guys freak out when you realize you disconnected from your VPN for 10 mins. eBay doesn't really seem to care that much unless you're BLATANT about rule breaking. I've even successfully reused the same address to buy from after one account was shutdown. Just don't make a habit of it. If it happens once in a while, you'll most likely have no issues.

If you didn't know your IP changed, how can know it hasn't been used by your old ebay while it changed?
