eBay account hacked?

1. Click "Help & Contact" at the top of most eBay pages.
2. Click the "Contact eBay" tab. You may be asked to sign in.
3. Select the topic that best describes your issue and we'll show you how to contact us..

I was unable to log into my eBay after providing a tracking number for an item I sold. Got a phone call from a Utah number and when I called back it was an automated system. Is my account still in the clear?

Do you think only stealth accounts get limited/banned? Why do you think stealth accounts are made in the first place?

Your account has been flagged as too risky so as others suggested it's time to make a new stealth account as you won't be able to do business on the current one.

Yeah, it sounds like you've been 'soft banned', or whatever they're calling it these days.

Banning you without saying 'banned'.

Try to call and find out what's going on, nothing to lose at this point.

This doesn't sound like any type of ban/limitation/restriction/suspension to me. Their message gives no details about why they made this decision. From what I gather though I get the impression they thought your selling account was compromised and someone other than yourself was selling on it.

Was any type of selling restriction applied to your account? I didn't see any mention of a 7/30/infinite day restriction..
