How does eBay handle scam buyers for BIG companies?
I always wondered what would happen if a scam buyer tried to pull some cr*p with a major company like Best Buy (as they have an online eBay store now.)
Eg, what if a buyer opened a "Not Authentic" claim? Obviously this would be horse poo poo, since Best Buy would never dabble in that sh*t.. but would eBay still honor the claim and force BB to accept the return?
Or what if the buyer claims defective and returns a brick to Best Buy (through eB).. what if BB puts their foot down and claims the buyer is defrauding them? eBay's argument of "we can't trust the seller over the buyer" wouldn't really hold water in this scenario, so would they really have the audacity to force a refund out of BB's pocket? Would they refund both sides and take the hit themselves? Or would they call the buyer's bluff and suspend them, etc
What do you guys think would happen? I'm really curious
