First listing on stealth account
 

I list my first item on stealth account 4 days ago got 2 bids on it just wondering when it's safe to list another item? And can that other item be a old use cellphone or a gaming system?? Any suggestions the first item I listed was a baby one piece onesie

As longs as it is NOT brand new, risky items, I would keep listing if I were you...

He mentioned you should NOT mention brand new items, so as you indicated in your original post, the old cellphone or gaming system should be fine. Think second hand houseold good, or items you would obtain at the Dollar Store, Goodwill, etc.
Take it easy on a new account for the first few weeks then gradually scale up. Since it looks like you already have the Stealth Guide, best to follow that as much as you can.

I wouldn't list electronics yet, even older ones. The bots will just pickup on the category you listed in and maybe some keywords that could inadvertently raise an automated red flag

Speeder is correct. Don't try and list those sorts of items on a brand new account. Most of the time you get flagged by the bots!

How long or how many sales do I need to move on to bigger and better things and the bots just let me be, how about used branded clothes? I'm so nervous about posting items I have forsale without getting flagged how can I make money selling house hold goods? What about Apple phone chargers or phone cases??

Agreed, 90 days seems to be key with ebay and paypal. This doesn't mean you can list as many high risk items as possible after 90 days. Just that the risk per item will be lower

I have been telling people that if they want to list high value items / electronics, etc, they'll have to call eBay and actually ask them what's required.

It's safer to sell used brand names but you'll also have to have the receipt. I have even included a photo of the receipt in the listing, then call the rep asking them if this is good enough .

I also recommend you read up on the ebay stealth. It'll teach you a lot of things.
