- - Low Item Views?

| BaggaDonuts | 10-16-2017 08:37 PM | Re: Low Item Views? Cassini hard at work. Things switched up around a month ago to give preference for listings with high CTS/CTR.. so make your listing stick out like a sore thumb and so it sells the product. |
| nickopedia | 10-16-2017 08:42 PM | Re: Low Item Views? There seems to be a slight placement in BIN vs my 1 or 3 day auction listings for the same item(s) in the same categories. For some reason I find my auctions are maybe in 2nd or 3rd place on the first page of a search, whereas my BIN listings are pushed back to nearly the end of the page. Also the amount of time remaining on an auction listing seems to push it up more too. |

You used to be able to type in something generic like "iPhone" and half the first page would be auctions ending within an hour maybe two hours, then the most popular BIN listings |

Aking are you talking about auctions or BIN listings? | Both actually |

I take advantage of this by creating one BIN, one Auction and several scheduled auctions to start when one ends.
I make my own BIN Button (linking back to my original BIN listing) and stick it right at the top of the description on all auction listings. I make sure to leave a text saying they can buy the item right now if the cannot wait for the auction.

Smart Idea. I stick to BIN nowadays because I just can't deal with nonpayment buyers. Too annoying, especially when you get excited when an item sold for XX and never get payment or never respond to messages. |
| SaiJin | 10-17-2017 09:56 PM | Re: Low Item Views? Frankly, I never worry about the amount of views.
What I focus on is the quality of my listing and the pricing for my target market.
New accounts do get a helping hand from eBay because they want to encourage you, but this only lasts so long. The algo has always been you sell more and make more, thus your results in search go up. There's really no such thing as staying level. It's either you go down or you go up. |

Always the same level. |

So the answer is NO you can’t. |
| nickopedia | 10-20-2017 07:59 PM | Re: Low Item Views? How Cassini ranks listings can drive a seller nuts, esp. considering there are no guarantees when it comes to eBay. |

| Camaro2SS | 10-27-2017 06:24 PM | Re: Low Item Views? What did you expect ? Most of ebay is being overrun by drop shippers. They have basically spammed entire platform with identical duplicated listings. Now that ebay is introducing the Buy Box this will ease up some of the saturation. |

The market is too saturated and it will only be downhill from here on. Check Amazon, it got so saturated people are screaming everyday their sales are slow. |
