Default sending items to china

Hi, I just had a customer purchase some items form china there addressee was all in Chinese apart from a few number!!

so confused is this how I am suppose to send?

also done a quick Google search and about sending stuff to china and reading about having to declare it as it go through customs is this true?

hoping someone here has sent to china before and can help me out

Do you guys in the UK not have to fill out a customs for for all international shipments like we do in the USA?

I've shipped to China dozens of times. Translate the address with Google translator and then ship as usual.

Ok thanks for that. and no send many times international before and never had to fill out a customs. how do I go about doing this? the value of the item is below £30 btw.

For us in USA, customs forms are super-easy because they are automatically filled out whenever we print any international shipping label. They're included as part of the shipping label so we don't need additional documentation.

Assuming your shipping provider will not help you, you can easily download/fill out a CN-22 form yourself. CN-22 is pretty much the worldwide standard for international shipment customs forms.

The form itself is easy to fill out. Description of item, and declared value of item.

(IDK if you use Royalmail but that's an example)

Also, note that these are usually placed in clear envelopes on the outside of your shipment so that customs can easily review the documentation.

I would include both the chinese address and the english translated one. I made a mistake once, and they never received the parcel but luckily it was returned to me 2 months later.

You dont need a customs form if shipping to another eu country.

As its china, you will need to fill out the form. You just write what the item is and its value. If you take it the post office they will stick the form on it for you.

I would also include the addres in english and in chinese.

How do you guys include two addresses on the shipping label? Do you write the English translation by hand, or vice versa?

My Zebra can't even print Chinese symbols. It just shows up as a bunch of question marks so I'm forced to use the English translation.

haha I can translate into latin words for you. Custom stuff is not needed as long as it is not damn expensive.
