General Customer Service Headache
This thread is simply a vent chat about the "difficult" customers that are going outside of courtesy. I dont encounter this often because I tend to go over-the-top with customer service measures. But how many occurrences a month do you guys encounter of customers allowing packages being delivered in an unsafe area, not reading descriptions while ignoring no return in the listing, and the general demanding customer that tries to boss you around to get what they want when they are at fault?
I could go on for days of "profiling" certain customers based on sales price and general area of who will be difficult. It seems a portion of today's customers do not care about small business and the cost it takes to service a customer. I believe this can be chalked up to Amazon and the ability to absorb losses for abusive customers with their marketing scheme of a-z coverage which eBay pursued.
