Default New accounts keep getting low limits... anyone else notice a change lately?

After learning tricks and help from members here over many years, my new accounts have been getting 1,000 items and $5K+ limits quite consistently for a long time now.... with the occasional exception, of course. But now it's constantly low limits without an exception.

Could things be so much different because it's this time of year (FleaBay is often much more strict around the holiday season) or is it possible FleaBay is changing the way they assign limits....?

Anyone else notice a sudden change lately...?

In the past year or so I consistently create 1K listing $25K accounts...didnt need to age them at all, bam high limits and get to selling...

Ive made about 8 accounts in the last month and wasnt able to get high limits, also seems accounts going down quicker. Another thing I noticed i had a few accounts start at $1,000 and instantly get reduced to $500 limit, weird. Usually I can do pretty risky things and get away with it, thats why I relatively easily create high limit accounts... think something has tightened up and I may need to let things age a bit. Are you aging your accounts at all before turning them to selling accounts?

Wouldn't be surprised if ebay lowers limits of new accounts over the holidays, surprised it took them this long to start. I still remember the season they were giving 0/0's like candy

I'm guessing it's because of the holiday season. Security ramps up, they become a lot more active in moderating etc.
