Can ebay see your account and sort code number thats on file on your paypal ? ive been told they cant ?

Just spoke to a paypal rep he goes they only can see email and business name is goes 100% they cant see your bank information on ebay such as debit cards account numbers etc

I wouldnt believe everything PayPal says is always the truth

You cannot add your sort code and bank account number into eBay though so I don't really see why it matters?
