I got 10 listings going. Found a legit product to sell in high-demand area using terepeak. I put them about 2 days ago; have professional pictures, detailed description and lowest possible price. Got a ton of views but no buys. Why? Anyone experienced the same?

You sure you have the lowest price? What is location of item being shipped - USA or ...?

Yeah, that's the problem with using EB's in house product.
Didn't you do your own research?

Didn't you do your own research? | It's not EB's product. It's just a generic item that was in a super hot category on terepeak.

The in house product I am referring to is Terapeak.
Crappy bit of work, very deceptive. Price isn't everything, and often it isn't the best pictures that sell, but those that the buyers like.
Maybe the other sellers have moved lots and lots of product and EB pushes them more than yours.
There's lot of reasons their stuff might be selling while yours isn't.

It's a variation of the hot-selling product, not a seasonal.
Other seller's don't exist, my product comes first in a search engine.
I'll just got 3 sales but it's still weak, I guess I'll wait for a week or so, if doesn't pick up, I will send to amazon fba to recoup my investment.

The market overal globally is currently really low and no one knows why.
It's not just eBay.
So wait it out a little

If they didn't exist, then how did you find out is was hot it Terapeak? Hmmm?
Obvious the product variation you are trying to sell ISN'T hot. Because it's not the product you researched.
Very simple.

Very simple. | You misunderstood. It's a variation (improvement) on an already hot-selling item. I am the only one who has an improved version for sale. Regardless, I got 4 more sales today at break-even price, so it looks like things started to move albeit slowly.

Don't rely on Terapeak alone. You need to research the "old fashioned" way: DOING YOUR HOMEWORK.
That means going to eBay and stating off finding other items exactly the same as yours that have actually sold.
Just because Terapeak, or whoever says you have a "HOT" item doesn't mean it is. It could very well be crap in the EB market.

I got 80+ views in 2 days and 9 total buys, still at the break-even price though. So it sells, but it's just not the kind of hit that I was hoping for. I am not even sure to what margin will I eventually increase the price. I wish I had a way to just get rid of these items for 80-90% of what i paid for them (600 bucks).

Other sellers are buyers. Always can get out of a product BUT if you are selling on ebay at cost, odds are you will only get 50% of your investment.
