Absolutely dangerous. That will link accounts and... you never know what could happen.
Sell low price, even with a little loss. Give free shipping, and add a leaflet in the envelope telling your customer that you care about it and feedback is appreciated...

Start with just some really cheap items that you just turn a profit on
You can also buy really cheap items (99p items) to at least give yourself some feedback

What if the owner of the house linked to my account contacts ebay for receiving items he never ordered? Could that ever happen and then I'm in trouble?

I don't know who lives in the address I'm using but if I ask the seller (through private message) to send the item to another address, I don't think he would do that, as he would lose protection.

For what it's worth OP I never do any buying. I slowly start making GTC listings and wait for sales to start coming in. Never had much trouble getting feedback on a fresh account.

Its probs not the best idea to get items sent to a residential address that someone else lives at.
You can however add a different address at checkout on ebay. I'm sure you can figure out the types of addresses you can add here if you don't plan on receiving the items.

I never do any buying either.
I don't worry about the feedback. If they're good items, priced properly, along with the new account bump there'll be sales, and then before long feedback.
